You made commentary on his running.

He's just been assaulted and shot at someone.

I saw that. It didn't take him long to let go. Him trying open her door is what spooked her to try to get the hell out of there.

No one knows that. You were not there, you did not hear the conversation. Further, the officer shooting shot when the vehicle started trying to flee and he no idea whether she was coming to run him over or would keep turning. Had he waited, he would be dead by the time he was certain.

Police respond to situations where they feel threatened. If you just cooperate with police and follow their direction, there usually isn't any problem.

But what gets me is how the Left want to micro-analyze every tiny detail of an ICE encounter yet couldn't sweep the killing of Ashli Babbitt under the carpet fast enough defending Byrd all the way.

They have every right, if not a duty to correct that situation.

The video clearly shows an officer standing directly in front of the car, getting hit, and scrambling to get out of the way.

The cop was hit. Not bad, but enough that it probably bruised his leg and jamned up or wrenched his knee. You can see him limping rather stiff legged as he went to the car. These are contusion injuries, so remember, it takes 5-10 minutes for the swelling and pain to set in, when they first happen, adrenaline helps block you from feeling the full pain.

The object wasn't to avoid idiots parked in the middle of the road for no reason.

The presumption was that they were coming at her for blocking them. Impeding the execution of a law enforcement action. She was going to be arrested for breaking the law. What part of that don't you understand. Not to mention you have no idea of what else had already transpired.

If one of the idiots in the yards who was barking at police had pulled a gun and pointed it at them, I doubt they run for cover and then run away. But you go ahead and try.
