She drove her car at someone holding a gun at her as part of an attempted arrest.

ITMT, in doing so, they just blew their every rationale for the arresting of those 1600 J6 prisoners, most of whom did far less than this lady.

I haven't come to a conclusion on this story yet....but I'm just saying, what that guy said in the tweet that DTMB posted (that she was "parked in the middle of the road to block law enforcement") appears to be flatly, demonstrably untrue.

I was using the conditional sentence. She wasn't blocking the road, but even if she had been blocking it, the ICE car in front of her was, so what difference does it make.

What I find from this story is that it's the way the police, and ICE function in the US. They're too heavy handed, often their rules of engagement come from military people, who have decided they need to be assholes in order to feel good about themselves.

I work with a dude like this. He's an idiot. Thinks his kid needs a good thrashing now and again to make a man out of him.

Yeah, if she were blocking the road, she was A) doing a bad job and B) why is the white car joining in? Looks like the white car forced her to swerve out of the way. So she was facing across the road. There was plenty of room for her to move forwards and to the right, a car could have got passed her easily.

This is not the exact clip I saw earlier, but in the first couple seconds of this clip you can see that she is waving a couple cars to pass, not "parked in the middle of the street to block law enforcement" as that tweet said.

I mean, look at it yourself. Do you not see her waving the cars by in the very beginning of this clip?

You can still see though, if you look at the very beginning of this clip, in the first couple seconds, can you not see her waving the cars to pass, waiting her turn? Put it in full screen. Then later in the clip it appears that she panicked, but I was only talking about the very beginning part.

He wasn't in danger. Even if he had been hit, he wouldn't have been hurt badly.

The problem here is that his first thought was to shoot at the car. Wouldn't have made a difference. The car would still have hit him or not hit him, as can be seen by what happened.

The logical thing to do would be to GET OUT OF THE ******* WAY. The car wasn't moving fast enough to cause him that much harm anyway.

But this keeps happening. ICE keep acting like they can do whatever they want, to whom ever they want. And they keep creating these situations when they suddenly need to beat people up, or kill them. When if they had PROPER TRAINING, it wouldn't have escalated in the first place.
