The Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot the woman in her vehicle in a residential neighborhood in Minneapolis, Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.

The shooting marks a dramatic escalation of the latest in a series of immigration enforcement operations in major American cities under the Trump administration. It’s at least the fifth person killed in a handful of states since 2024.

Shooting an unarmed activist and protester, ICE is getting way out of hand. Ms. McLaughlin was protesting, which under the United States Constitution was her right, but I'm sure ICE will justify the shooting.

Sometimes in those situations when there is only a split second to make a decision, Cops can make a mistake. Lesson is as a protestor, dont put yourself in that situation by blocking law enforcement with your vehicle... then disobeying a comand to either move out of the way, or then refuse to open your door when approached, and then try to drive off with a cop in front of your vehicle. If you dont put yourself in that situation then you are in no situation for something bad to happen. No doubt there have probably been a hundred similar situations with no shots fired... but this one will become a Democrat rallying cry to incite more violence.
