A U.S. citizen on her way to a medical appointment in Minneapolis was dragged out of her car and detained by immigration officers, according to a statement released by the woman on Thursday, after a video of her arrest drew millions of views on social media.

Aliya Rahman said she was brought to a detention center where she was denied medical care and lost consciousness. The Department of Homeland Security said she was an agitator who was obstructing ICE agents conducting arrests in the area.

That video is the latest in a deluge of online content that documents an intensifying immigration crackdown across the midwestern city, as thousands of federal agents execute arrests amid protests in what local officials have likened to a “federal invasion.”

An "agitator" or a Woman on her way to a doctor's office, ICE Thugs. Given outrageous conduct on part of ICE Thugs, the murder of Renee Good and other heavy handed tactics the time has come to reign in ICE.

You may be right but I also take into consideration that he actually was not just standing there. He had just stopped there after having walked from the other side of the vehicle.

It looks to me that he paused there when the other officer commanded her to get out of the car and reached for the door handle. And it's important to remember that when he paused there, she was backing up. If she had continued the backing turn as she was, he would no longer have been standing in front of the vehicle. This might be why he paused where he did.
But then she suddenly put it in drive and punched the gas. And something else to consider: while she ultimately was trying to escape, at the moment she punched the gas, the front wheels were pointing more or less straight ahead. She actually hits the gas before the front tires were in a right-turn orientation.

At the very least I think we can say that both of them made bad decisions that day.

The least we can say was it was a good shoot. That would be the accurate way to describe it

A car is a deadly weapon and she drove it right into him trying to flee.

and was unarmed. She posed no threat to anyone around her.

How does an officer know that? Send out questionnaires before being confronted by malicious people trying to hit them with their auto? How long would you last if you assumed every hostile, angry person you encountered was unarmed and meant you no harm? You can kill more people faster with a car than you can with a machine gun.
