Breaking: Woman shot while trying to kill ICE agents in Minnesota

That actually makes it worse.

Why didn't ICE do a mental evaluation to make sure he wouldn't crack under a similar situation? Why didn't they retrain him to act SAFELY around vehicles?

Again- ICE's own policies are that you don't fire at moving vehicles and you don't stand in front of a vehicle that might potentially start moving.
The training is only as good as whether the person can make split second decision and putting the training to good use. Most people, including those who are trained, cannot make rational decision within split second. Even SWAT team members can make faulty decision. The Ruby Ridge incident and the shooting of Breonna Taylor are examples of costly mistakes.

You can see that she struck the officer. Also, where was the outrage when that very same officer was struck and dragged by another person who weaponized their vehicle?

Um, in that case, he broke the window of the car and was trying to grab the guy inside.

You would think after that first incident, they'd have had the good sense to retrain him to not be such a yahoo who puts himself and other in danger.

But like almost all cops in bad situations, they have a long record of escalation.

Of course, some individuals are just blood thirsty and love to see those they don't agree with suffer. "Old school" thinking, where public servants were there to help and protect life is out of fashion. Shoot first and don't worry about the questions appears to satisfy certain types. While we may not understand why people would be trying to inhibit the work of weeding out illegal immigrants, becoming frustrated and being so ready to use ultimate force on such protesters is intolerable.

becoming frustrated and being so ready to use ultimate force on such protesters is intolerable.

Exactly. Even when the protestors hit you with their vehicle.

Well good thing the system is based on your feelings. It was a wrongful death and thus restitutions must be made.
If a cop does something wrong the cop should be punished

And that is all that should be all that happens

You're not sure what point YOU are trying to make,

The woman was following them and agitating. This has been established by eyewitness accounts and her spouse, which are already posted here, and the fact she is a member of the "Watch ICE" group that follows them around and records and harasses them. She purposely parked her car perpendicular in the road. This has been a common tactic by these people who follow ICE around.

Again, these are the facts that have come out, but you guys never wait for that. The moment you all heard this incident happened you all immediately jumped to murder. You all made up your minds before you even saw or read the evidence and now you're doing mental gymnastics to manipulate every video and other piece of evidence out there to stick to your narrative.
Okay, and she deserves death for that?

Nope. The US is, the last time I heard, a free society.

You want waiting for facts? Did you see the two press conferences Noem did?

She said ICE were stuck in the snow, digging themselves out, and then this woman then just attacked them. Does anything bare any relation to that?

Also, we all know ICE are acting overly aggressive. Some police officers in the US are also acting like this. Their training seems to be based on Iraq and Afghanistan, rather than on the US.

Also, they seem like they're going out there to get noticed. They're beating people up.

1:20 in. The ICE agent just runs into his business, and pushes the guy down on the floor. Then threw him on the floor outside.

It keeps happening. These people are public servants, and acting like Brown shirts.

There's a reason people are protesting them, because they're UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL and they need to be reigned in, but Trump is loving it. Possibly because he's trying to create more riots, so he can then have a backlash against them. Populists do well when there's anger, and they can point at the "bad people" and say "I will be strong against this".

It's almost part of the playbook.

Um, Ruby Ridge and Breonna Taylor, people were held accountable.

Of course, at Ruby Ridge, they were dealing with a bunch of Trigger Happy Nazis who had already killed a federal marshal.

In the Breonna Taylor Case, her boyfriend shot at the cops through the door.

This woman was responding to contradictory commands to move her car and get out of her car, while four jackboots swarmed her.

Simple solution. Stop harrassing agents who are enforcing our laws. Stay out of their way, and everyone goes home safely tonight.
Or, train ICE agents to be professional and to do their job properly.

No? Too hard? No, just beat people up, kill them because.... People have the right to protest. These people are public servants. They're seeing protests because they're too heavy handed, and then complaining about the consequences of their heavy handedness.

Should the govt be able to do whatever it wants? No. You people literally say you need guns to defend yourself against a govt like Trump's.

You got reading comprehension? That’s what I am pointing to. Both situations, both agents fucked up.

Have nothing against her. She was put up to doing what she did by her lover and paid dearly. Should have stayed home.

You're full of crap on your claims.

Post 3464 shows what really happened.

You can't handle the truth.

I might have come around if he had only added one more 'really,' but alas, here I am stuck wallowing in the harshness of reality instead of the leftist's make believe world...

Wow, that's a fanciful interpretation

What that video shows me is that Officer McShooty wasn't in her path at all.

Well yeah, not in her path at all, which becomes obvious when you realize that she literally hit him with her car. That's some crazy physics yall got over there in Leftyland. Not in her path 'AT ALL' but she was still able to hit him with her car. That's wild.

You have no idea how fast that happened..........he was in the middle of the event when he fired those shots in rapid succession......you are an idiot who doesn't understand that to him, filled with adrenaline, his vision and time perspective distorted, as well as just having been hit by the SUV and pushed, he reacted to the attack......you dumb ass......3 quick shots.....and you can see from the actual video...he didn't pause to shoot, his first shot was from the front as she rammed him, the next shot as he was sliding off the hood, and the final shot was immediately after......as she was leaving the scene....

Try to do some basic ******* research into what happens in violent encounters...

The problem is that his ICE training and protocol is that you don't get in front of a moving vehicle, you don't shoot at a moving vehicle, and you certainly don't scream profanities at civilians who are going about their day.

You could have just say 'No, I haven't watched the multiple videos of the incident,' that would have been a lot quicker than the gibberish you typed out instead.

It wasn't moving. SHe was parked in the middle of the street.
, you don't shoot at a moving vehicle,

You do if they are driving the car at you.
and you certainly don't scream profanities at civilians who are going about their day.
"going about their day" Didn't watch today's video, huh?

The debate is over:

I don' t think that video makes Officer McShooty look any better. So he was holding up his phone, recording the license plate, harassing the driver he was about to murder and her wife. He was clearly causing a confrontation.

If he had time to put down his phone after he was hit, then he had time to realize shooting her wasn't the best course of action.

Um, her husband is dead.
Speaking from the grave?

Good’s ex-husband said she was a devoted Christian who took part in youth mission trips to Northern Ireland when she was younger. She loved to sing, participating in a chorus in high school and studying vocal performance in college.

The problem is that his ICE training and protocol is that you don't get in front of a moving vehicle, you don't shoot at a moving vehicle, and you certainly don't scream profanities at civilians who are going about their day.

AI opinion:

However, the policy includes a critical exception: agents may use deadly force, including firing at a moving vehicle, if they reasonably believe the vehicle's operator poses an imminent threat of death or serious physical injury to themselves or others, and no other reasonable means of defense (such as moving out of the way) appear to exist.
