US clears officer in Ferguson case, criticizes police force

WASHINGTON (AP) — TheJustice Department says it won't prosecute formerFerguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of an unarmed black 18-year-old that led to weeks of protests.

Federal officials concluded there was no evidence to disprove Wilson's testimony that he feared for his safety, nor was there reliable evidence that Michael Brown had his hands up when he was shot.

Yes, it seemed like a no-brainer, but I'm sure Wilson is still breathing a big sigh of relief this morning.

The DOJ made the right call.

Everyone with a brain knew it was all for show.

They just wanted to drag it out in order to put the fear of god into not only Wilson, but to the entire Fergusson police force.

Or, that's how long the investigation took. The DOJ didn't conclude their investigation into Zimmerman until 10 days ago. The process is time consuming.

Yep. They searched long and hard for the needle. And eventually just called the haystack racist.
