BREAKING: Supreme Court says US must aid in return of man deported by mistake

He will still be deported to his home country... he is a gang leader...
First Trump has to get him back. Then he has to give him his day in court which will probably be many days. Even if the court agrees he is no gang member and even if he gives the judge his US passport proving he is a US citizen, ICE will still deport him or just make him disappear.

Stayed by SCOTUS, now remanded back to District Court for clarification.

Due to the administrative stay issued by The Chief Justice, the deadline imposed by the District Court has now passed. To that extent, the Government's emergency application is effectively granted in part and the deadline in the challenged order is no longer effective.
The rest of the District Court's order remains in effect but requires clarification on remand. The order properly requires the Government to "facilitate" Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador.
The intended scope of the term "effectuate" in the District Court's order is, however, unclear, and may exceed the District Court's authority.

So the USSC did not uphold that the Trump administration must get the guy back. Nor did

Supreme Court says US must aid in return of man deported by mistake

No wonder it's not prominent on CNN or Foxnews.

By Allah! The Democrats on here are mighty liars!

The reality isn't quite up to the liberal hype. It was kicked back to the lower court to explain just how these rogue judges were going to usurp executive powers. These hack judges can't do a thing if El Salvador simply says no.
And that's why Trump uses this place, guilt or innocent is immaterial. All mistakes will be buried.

It's just a legal thing, it doesn't change the fact that this guy is MS13. The court decided he couldn't go to El Salvador but also said he doesn't need to come back to the U.S. so he is deportable. He came in under the Biden administration illegally.
Wrong, he came in when Obama was in office and Trump had the opportunity in 2019 to deport but a judge put a stop to that. He was a teenager in 2011.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia came to the U.S. around 2011. He entered the country illegally, fleeing gang violence in his native El Salvador. He sought refuge in the U.S., joining an older brother in Maryland. In other words, the court said, the Trump administration had the power to return him on its own. Abrego Garcia entered the country illegally sometime around 2011, but an immigration judge in 2019 – after reviewing evidence – withheld his removal.

Show us where the Supreme Court said he doesn't need to come back to U.S.? I see it in no order.

That's how fascist governments correct their errors.

0311 , berg80 , TimFitz :

the unsigned decision by the SC is disappointing

But its not the end of the world for MAGAs

Because the MS-13 gangbanger is not back in the US and may never be

Because he is an El Salvadorian and El Salvador is not under the authority of a pip squeak judge in Boston

Besides the ruling was not a total defeat for trump as your link reveals

BTW: libs left out this part:

“However, the court said that the additional requirement to "effectuate" his return was unclear and may exceed the judge's authority. The justices directed Xinis to clarify the directive "with due regard for the deference owed to the executive branch in the conduct of foreign affairs."

Just crossed the wire.

Essentially, they said the US must aid in the return of a man whom was deported "by mistake" back to the US. Yes, Trump made a mistake here. Yes, the Supreme Court nailed it.

If you have links post them below.

The Supreme Court ruled correctly. They also paused the midnight deadline for his return.

He will just be deported again if he is brought back.

This is yet another hill lefties are willing to die on.

The same people who had no problem with J6ers languishing in prison for years without a trial.

The battle wasn’t fought for one man.

It was fought for equal Justice under the law and the rule of law. It was also fought against the idea that the government can snatch people off the streets and imprison or de[ort them with no due process of law.

I’m sure he will enjoy his flight to Gitmo, that’s the US and he can stay there until his trial is over then back to El Salvador.

I'm super impressed with this orange bag O' shit (not). Disaster administration 2.0 has no idea what it's doing.

He's not going back to Gitmo, and there's already been a trial. He will be set free which was the outcome of his trial.

Trump doesn't have to do anything... he will be brought to the US Embassy in Venezuela and given his due process and sent to an MS13 dominated country of his choice....
