Hunter Biden is a total sleazebag, crook, drug addict, and liar. He did not deserve a pardon. Joe Biden has greatly stained his reputation by pardoning him.

When in Rome, you do as the Romans do. Trump is now president and in his court, pardoning convicted rioters and insurrectionists is something that is "to be done". As such, Biden pardoning his son is simply following the rules/guidelines of the incoming president.

On top of that and from pure common sense. The people chose the Republican platform and that means that the Democratic platform has to change for the next election. Biden is from this Democratic platform (the one that lost) so it is up to the next (not this one) Democratic platform to come up with what they will support. These Democrats are now gone and what they do/did while still in office (another 7 weeks) is going to be totally meaningless and forgotten.

Pardoning his OWN SON is fully understandable as it something that under these circumstances is absolutely the right thing to do.
