Only congress can tax. It’s as clear as your right to free speech.

This is Democrats, sabotaging our US economy. Democrats are doing everything they can do make our country fail.
This is correct! The SCOTUS will see this and reverse the 9th Circus. We need to see the 9th Circus dry up and go away. There are other leftist circuses out there that also need to be stopped immediately.

Only congress can tax. The President doesn’t have that power.

According to Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution only Congress has the power to levy tariffs.

The Constitution says almost nothing about foreign policy and Congressional power over it…hahahaha

How the **** can tariffs be illegal?
Tarrifs are a tax on the US consumers.

This is the largest tax increase in America for 25 years...

Congress is the ones who set Taxes...

Trump brought in these tarrifs by trying to say that US is in an Emergency... No one is buying the Emergency.

Trump can have his tax increase, just has to get Congress and Senate approval...

BTW, the lawyers that brought this case were both Conservative, Liberals and Libertarians....

There are three branches of Government, not one.. That's how dictatorships work...

I am not sure if you quoted the correct person or not. I said Trump has no power to tax. That not debatable. A tariff is a tax directly on businesses. That isn’t debatable.

That would be Trump and his fucked up tariffs and his fucked up Big Ugly Bill, simp.

It's not a tax imposed by the U.S. Government IRS. The use of the word "tax" is being misused. SCOTUS will overturn this.

201: There was no surge in imports an d Trump tariffs are not industry specific... FAIL

232: 'Certain Products' ... Trump introduced wide ranging taxes, not on specific products.. It is easy to prove this has gone against US national security especially since US doesn't have access to the rare earth minerals these were made out anyway...

301: Tell us which agreements or practices the whole world violated? Show how the are restricting US Commerce... Actually the Taxes Trump brought in is actually hurting US Commerce.

It's a tax... IRS don't impose all taxes, Customs do as well... It is an import tax which is paid by the importer, this gets paid directly or passed to the customer

In the US, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) collects tariffs, which are generally paid by importers at the point of entry for goods into the country.Importers often use the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system for this process, with licensed customs brokers like FedEx or UPS often assisting in managing customs clearance and the collection of duties on behalf of the importer.

If you default on your debt or can't pay for your military I guarantee you that you will experience this national security.
Ha ha...

This is so easy to refute in court... The Big Ugly Bill increases the National Debt by giving tax cuts to mostly the rich, but then Trump will try and say there is an emergency about it...
So you are saying Trump is allowed to have a massive tax increase to try and fix the problem which he created... Too Funny... No wonder ye think Courts are bad, they are just not as ******* dumb as ye want them to be.

The question comes up all the time.... who ends up paying for tariffs... the consumer..
Kamala promised to raise taxes on the corporations .. who ends up paying for corporate taxes... the consumer..

P.S. Don't forget we are NOT PAYING TAXES on tips and overtime... which was Trump's plan all along... takes some of the sting of tariffs..

Under the United States Constitution, only CONGRESS can levy tariffs.
Over time, Congress has delegated some authority to the President through various laws, allowing the executive branch to impose tariffs under certain conditions, such as national security or trade emergencies. Statutory provisions like the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 and the Trade Act of 1974 enable the President to act on tariffs based on investigations and determinations by federal agencies, but this authority ultimately stems from congressional legislation.
