Black & Veatch Chief Executive Len Rodman, whose company does engineering for energy projects, said huge tragedies have changed the trajectory of the energy business before, such as the partial core meltdown in a unit at Pennsylvania's Three Mile Island nuclear power plant in 1979."That disaster literally put a stop to nuclear power in the U.S.," Rodman said at the summit. "I'm not sure Three Mile Island was as big as what has happened (in the Gulf).""What I worry about as an energy CEO is what effect this will have on energy policy," he said, noting it may lead people to look more seriously at electric cars, or complicate plans to pump carbon underground. "This BP thing has tentacles."


People..............Wake UP.......... These corporations have been screwing us for years. We could have done away with an oil based economy a long time ago but then how would these guys make billions. Now we have devastation of our ocean that will be on an unamaginable scale before its over.

This is a crime against humanity or ecocide or whatever you want to call it. Round up the top executives responsible, try them as terrorists and shoot or hang them. Ill bet things would change rapidly. China does it and they have been "civilized" a lot longer than we have. The time for political corectness is over....grow some balls. I dont typically support the death penalty but this is a fight for survival and the dying animals and landscape cry out for retribution. When are people going to say enough is enough......before there is nothing left people...............NOTHING LEFT


Do you think these people will ever stop....will they ever make enough money or have enough power. Corporations are pathologic and sociopathic by their very nature. They have one purpose and that is to accumulate wealth and promote a political and social order that will ensure that they continue to accumulate wealth....THATS IT. You cant reason with them or plead with them....they have no compassion and no conscious.


How can you punish, fight, destroy a corporation when it is a group of many people? What about all the innocent people who are just workers....what about them.
Identify the leaders of the corporation, those who control and plan and own and bring them to swift justice. Then create an alternative economy to employ those who lost their job.

What did we do with NAZI GERMANY. We hunted down the leaders and rabid supporters of that evil corporation and killed or imprisoned them after a fair and open trial. What did we do with the average german soldier who was just doing their job? We developed an alternative society that offered a viable alternative to Hitlers Germany.


You may believe this is different situation but sooner or later you will all see that it is not. The question is.......what will be left of our planet by the time you do.
