He was charged by Art 15 three counts, found guilty of failing to go to an appointed place of duty, disobedience of an order and making a false official statement.

He was punished for serving the Chic-Filet sandwiches.. this was during the time frame of the Gay protests of the company and there were at least one gay or gay supporting member of the band who was offended because of the choice of food and filed a complaint.

As they absolutely should've done. Chick-fil-A is a bigoted company, and its food is tainted by racism, homophobia, and religious zealotry.

This manpig is just angry because President Obama's Army isn't tolerating his public bigotry (hatred of Homosexual-Americans, racism against President Obama) any more.

His lawsuit will fail. I guarantee it. Not just because I want it to, but because no court could possibly uphold the claim that, in the midst of military down-sizing, this bigot was forced out due to "muh political buhleefs" or "muh relijun".

Again we see the left not tolerating opinions different from their own. Chick-fil-A is not a bigoted company, why can' the owners have a political opinion? Why do we have to be subjected to the perversion of gay pride parades down Main Street, but when others express their opposition the are "bigoted." Why can't this soldier have political opinion? I will be interested to see how this case turns out. Those superiors that ordered him to, a) get rid of the bumper stickers and; b) stop read conservative material in front of other military personnel could just lie under oath.

What really hurts him is the fact that he took the retirement willingly. He should not have done that and made them boot him out. I think, then, he would have won his case.

I really don't think a soldier gives up his rights as a citizen when not on duty. His personal car and the Chic Filet was on his personal time.

Whether he is on duty or not, an active duty member of the US military is under the UCMJ. His rights are certainly not the same as a citizen who is not in the military.

And even if his rights were the SAME as civilians, no employee of a company can get away with bad mouthing their Boss or CEO in public, even if in off hours, and no employee can just disobey orders, and no employee can sport a bumper sticker supporting the removal of the CEO, nor can an employee think they can get away with bad mouthing company policy out in the open, even if off duty, nor think they can tweet about their boss or company in a negative sense, even in off hours and think they can't be canned for it.
