Do the dozens of state legislatures flipping from red to blue portend a blue wave this fall? Thoughts?

Full list of seats flipped by Democrats during Trump’s second term

As of early 2026, a record-breaking 35 to 42 Republican members of the House of Representatives have announced they will not seek re-election in the 2026 midterms, either retiring or running for higher office. This high turnover, which also includes several senators, is significantly impacting Republican incumbency heading into the election cycle. ~ A I

that's MTG's seat. a ruby red seat... the (R) safe seat gave more votes to the blue side.

my thoughts?

ba bye (R) all over the fking country, both local & in congress - to which i say...

:fu:

That didn't happen, therefore your question is based on a false premise.
I stand corrected. It's dozens of GOP state seats that have flipped, not the legislatures themselves. Still, state republican reps are worried.

Correction. Many GOP state seats have been lost, not entire legislatures.

No, they didn't. There were two Republicans running and they split the vote. Had there been only one, the Republican would have handily won outright without the need for a runoff, which he will win.

Nonetheless, your original point is correct. Things are looking very upbeat for the Democrats in November.

Many are local nut states and cities. A national election is gong to be very different. The economy will be the major factor. The middle class will get 10 billion in tax refunds and increased wages. The fundamentals are strong. After the war settles in a few weeks the dow will surge. Expect to see over and over democrats sitting when Trump called them out to support Americans first over illegals. This will effect swing voters and moderates to not vote for democrats. Democrats have no one to run for president. Newsum and Harris are leaders and with their records they dont have a chance. Democrats have no plan or solutions and the Biden disaster is fresh in the nations minds.

There will be no blue or red wave.

Millions of Trump voters are disenchanted with his campaign rhetoric. Disenchantment leads to a lot of things: anger, revenge, distrust, sorrow, displeasure, wrath, etc. And we all know that millions of Americans are emotional voters. Based on these facts, we will certainly see a directional shift in the tide. Right-leaning Dems will shift. Tons of Independents will shift. Far right Conservatives may refrain from voting at all (I being one of them).

92% of Republicans support Trump.

Irrelevant, as Deep State run both the Red and the Blue .

When will the Sheeple learn and then do something about it?
Voting won't change the country. The "sheeple" have to change.
