BLOCKED: A legislative bill to require that all voters are citizens of the United States

If we do not enforce the existing laws, making a new law will not change a thing, as they still will not be enforced.

Using your analogy, if the bank did not care about the existing laws, why would they care about one more?
There is no mechanism for enforcement, like documetary evidence. This bill would add the mechanism.

Because legally they are allowed to seek asylum. It’s a matter of existing law
And the existing law no longer applies after X number of people enter or will this change that? If so, why not change it to 0.

The same data is used for both your Real ID and to be able to vote, they just pull it from what you supplied for the Real ID instead of making you provide it again
Nope...proof of citizenship isn't required for Real ID.

But the information to determine if you are a citizen or not is.

You lost.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED FOR REAL ID.

You lost - and are only digging yourself a bigger hole.

You want illegals to vote - we understand why - just admit it for God's sake.

But the information to determine if you are a citizen or not is.
What information is that?

Real IDs are not a requirement to register anyway. Student IDs even work. An ID, a mailing address in the US from a utility bill and checking a box that you promise that you are a citizen is all that is required. That is hardly secure. Top it off with the fact that anybody can walk into many voting locations and claim they are Joe Schmoe and can vote since ID is not required. Only if the real Joe comes in to vote would that be caught. Again, hardly secure.

What state does not require documentary proof?

What state(s) do require documentary proof of citizenship when checking the box on their driver’s license. There are only 4 and only 1 of those actually enforces it.
