Absolutely it is a scam. I am just pointing out it is a particularly American scam, designed to make money from the get go, organized as a non-profit (not organized by Obama, so don't know that that is about) and is a real moneymaker, getting lots of free advertising as news report event such as officer involve shootings associated with it, causing the donations to poor in. It takes advantage shootings, riots, and even does some organizing of what are supposed to be peaceful demonstrations that just happen to turn violent, creating news, creating more donations to support their peaceful protests. They look over and skip all the black on black violence, domestic violence and anything common in the black community as if cops shooting or getting rough with black perps, suspects, is indicative of why people should think black lives matter, when black lives mostly don't matter to blacks and the black community. It is a perfect scam, as the costs, the deaths, the injuries, the burnings, the destruction are born by somebody else, leaving them the profits at the top. If you think of it like a business model, it is perfect as long as nobody in the organization is caught actually influencing the violent parts, only setting the stage.
Non-profit scams are very American. Think of trump non-profit scams that were just to make money for trump family to the point, they got kicked out and barred from the non-profit business. The trumps differ as they did not start really organizing for violence until the Jan 6th insurrection, but since then money has been rolling in. Both are just two sides of the non-profit, for profits fund-raising industry in America. Both model well-supported, with the people at the top reaping the benefits and externalizing the major costs. It's a business school type thing, only they do not have to produce a product. Pretty damned impressive, from that business standpoint, though crooked as hell, as the money is the real underlying reason for the movements, not any stated policy. Attaining the purported objective would cut off the money stream.
