It's called complicit. They gave the money to virtue signal just like everyone else did, knowing it looked like the money was being used to enrich the founders. They couldn't care less. The only reason they gave it was so they could say they did.
That is the problem when companies/people us virtue signaling as the reason they give support, financially or otherwise.
And now we know that both in the U.S. and Canada we see verified misuse of donations - and what is law enforcement doing about it - **** all. That is what. So this only encourages other groups to tap into the liberal white virtue signalers to get theirs too.
