See, these people HAD A BOOTH at the convention (so the NAACP organization did welcome them) , the person who confronted them was a member and does not represent the leadership of the NAACP, she represents herself. I disagree with that lady's opinion and presentation of that opinion. In my opinion, the NAACP should welcome many different people from different political and social perspectives to speak and have booths at their convention.

That said, I'm not a member of the NAACP, they are a private organization and they can do what they want.

Considering it was founded by white Republicans who opposed lynchings and racist tactics of the Democrat Party, it is a sad day. Even its anthem they sing today was written by a Black Republican, James Weldon Johnson, whom started working with the NAACP, in 1917, being its first Black executive secretary-known as their operating officer.

Here are the bios of many of the founders of the NAACP, do you think that those people represent the view of White Republicans of today or do you think that they would be more welcomed in the Democratic Party of today?
