Is Donald J Trump running the day to day operations of these companies while President? The Dems have long argued he should have no part in running any of his businesses while President. So, Trump has separated himself from his private business activities. Then, they prohibited him from using PPP or rescue programs. Now, the Dems are after him for not stepping back into his private businesses to stop layoffs? Dems would no doubt file impeachment charges if he did anything.
