Remdesivir is an RNA polymerase inhibitor, it may stop some virus but it stops everything else too. Including your immune system.

You might want to take a look at the financial data too. Gilead (the maker of remdesivir) pays doctors to use it and promote it. Like for example this study that came out of France, funded by the French government where Fauci has no clout.
