Biden’s student loan cancellations to cost taxpayers $559B as households earning $300K benefit the most: study

96% of the package helps those under that income level.
Not helping my wife, who went back to school so she could teach at a career center after working in industry for 20 years, and she worked while she went, and 98% of her students end up in the industry she teaches, some while they are still in High school, we don't earn more than 150,000 combined and she is still paying! Yet these rich young progressives kids get a free pass and now my wife, and I have to pay off their debt too

What sidestep? The decision was specifically about use of the HEROES act to forgive loans.

This current program is not about the HEROES act.
The overriding principle was about the Secretary of Education unilaterally canceling financial obligations and appropriating taxpayer money.

Congress does that.

I doubt that very much read my comment
Rich white kids have rich white parents who pay for their expensive schools. Rich white parents don’t saddle their rich white kids with massive debt.

Black and Latino people come from much poorer families on average and on average have a harder time paying off student loans.

Congress did that when they passed laws directing income driven repayment plans and public service loan forgiveness l.

Simple answer don't take them out but pay the ones you already did like everyone else has in the past!

Congress passed laws to forgive student loans and they’re taking advantage of them.

There’s nothing wrong with that.

Government gives handouts to a lot more people for far worse reasons. I don’t see why everyone is all upset over this.

Scotus ruled they couldn't, because it is vote buying period!

Narrowly directed.

No loans were forgiven. The debt owed on those loans would be transferred to the taxpayers.

Comrade Biden has no authority to override the appropriation power of congress.

He didn’t. He’s executing the laws Congress already passed.

Not exactly. You’re confused in thinking SCOTUS shut down any student loan forgiveness but it was a decision about one specific program that the Biden administration had come up with.

Obviously false. That's why there are some 18 states suing the Biden administration regarding illegal debt transfer.

The lawsuit is narrowly directed. It does not cover all student loan forgiveness programs.

Amidst pretend-president Biden's vote buying scheme of student debt transfer is the true cost of the debt burden placed on taxpayers.

A Wharton study estimates that the various vote buying schemes will eventually cost taxpayers in excess of $559 Billion dollars.

Under the Dems / Socialists, spending and debt accumulation never ends, the middle class pays for everything but at what point do the Dems / Socialists literally kill off the middle class?

President Biden’s latest student loan cancellation plans will increase the total cost to taxpayers to a whopping $559 billion and benefit households earning more than $300,000 in annual income the most, according to a new study.
/—-/ Now, Joe 6-Pack who attended trade school will pay for some upper class kids college.

Not so narrow. The suits are about Biden's presumed dictatorial powers to subvert congress.
