Biden's Social Security Department Going After Average Americans

Biden gave Student Loan forgiveness
Republicans took it away

Let them run on it
And Joe has impoverished tens of millions of people with the inflation tax. We really need to have authoritarians run for office to kill the authoritarians that are screwing us over. And of course, no one should complain because it is Democracy.

The question then becomes, why is the Department so in competent that it regularly overpays?

Now, two longtime Social Security workers and employee union leaders are speaking out.

They say in recent years the problem has gotten worse.

“What has changed is that we don’t have enough people to do the work,” Angela Digeronimo said.

Critically low staffing levels mean it can be several years before workers reassess people’s cases and catch overpayments. The amount owed continues growing the whole time.

“We just don’t have the staff to work overpayments or underpayments,” said Jessica LaPointe.

The government’s internal audits show Americans are repaying about $4 billion to $5 billion in overpayments each year, but a whopping $21 billion remains uncovered.

if your bank puts too much money in your account, do you get to keep it?

do you think the overpaymenys do not arise from false information provided to the case workers?
in these cases, from the ones shown in the link's video, it was strictly a mistake involving disability payments of social security and those that also received workman's compensation. The workmans comp income was not accounted for, which calculated their Ss disability at a higher rate, which was wrong, and over paid them.

Trump's Social Security Department did the same thing.

Obama's Social Security Department did the same thing.

Bush II's Social Security Department did the same thing.

Clinton's Social Security Department did the same thing.

WHAT? You mean Presidents aren't running these agencies day to day operations? WTF?

it had to be something like that, or really bad data entry.

The government seems to be chronically behind the rest of the world in implementing and using solid IT solutions. I wonder if there is pressure to keep manual processes in place to keep people employed.

Biden did what he said he would.

He was way out bounds doing it. Even Biden said he didnt think he had the authority to do it for crying out loud, but he was going to do it anyway. Pelosi said the same. I know it pains you that when your guy is in office he cant go full dictator and just do whatever he wants.

Republicans took it away

The court ruled he was way outside his right and left lateral limits you mean.

Having trouble making ends meet? Don't worry, everything's just fine. And, Biden & Co are only going after those earning more than $400,000 per year. Well, except for these people:

I don't think this reflexive distrust is healthy.

And this has nothing to do with Biden.

Most of these situations involve people not properly calculating their asset streams in relation to SSI, and thus being overpaid.

I think incorrect or incomplete; mostly an SSI issue.
