Actually, the DoJ did respond and said some of those documents could not be declassified.

Anyway, that is another issue. I blame this on Trump. He waited to act until the last moment. Has DOJ the right to say docs cannot be declassified? The whole issue is the limitation of POTUS's Inherent powers. DOJ and his team did not have months to clear the issue. Trump believes he has the final say which I believe he has, but DOJ thinks otherwise.

haha, the issue with Biden has nothing to do with volition or not. The REAL issue for Biden is that he, unlike Trump, has no grounds to have those docs, and he had them in multi-unsecured locations. And, the last one is the kicker, he said he did not know.

The DoJ not only had that right, they informed him they could not declassify all of the documents he wanted declassified. Trump accepted that.
