Before Joe Biden jumped into the 2020 race, this very columnist wrote a piece headlined: “Biden will run and Biden will win.”

The premise of the brilliant piece was that while all the candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination moved hard left — offering socialist programs like free health care and free college and pushing trillion-dollar projects and 70% tax rates — Biden would waltz in, play the sane moderate, be embraced by the mainstream media, and sweep to victory.

It all may still happen, but he’s certainly not running away with the race (one recent poll showed him statistically tied with Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren).

There have been three big developments in recent weeks that have left Biden treading water.

Tell it like it is JoJo.....she will be YOUR candidate in 2020....if sh can lose 100 lbs. And walk up stairs without 2 men holding her up!

Not really. The polls have consistently shown Biden with a double digit lead and him drawing around 30% of the vote. Biden's best argument is the polling data however he needs to sharpen his focus. A EPIC-MRA poll in Michigan had Biden with a 10 point lead in Michigan which is the largest of all the candidates.

Biden has the over 50 voters. That's it. When the field gets smaller, and Biden's gaffes get worse, he will drop out, especially after the first few primaries.
Stick a fork in Joe, he's officially done. No one can imagine him as president, no one, not even his wife...

His pitiful attempt to bring in under 30s to his pitch by comparing assassinating RFK to an Obama assassination was just …. painful. I know what he was trying to say about the country coming apart, but that's not a comparison you make. Maybe, Imagine a disaster in one state and other states didn't offer to help.

It's still his to lose. He may yet run train in the South. If he gets some Mo, the more centracist may stick.
