I don't see where the FDA should even have the power to ban this. If Congress wants to outlaw newports, that's one thing. Let the Congress vote to ban them and get it on the record so the voters know.

But doing it through a regulatory board? Doesn't sound constitutional.

These overbearing bureaucrats should get out of American's day to day life and the marketplace and get to doing what they are supposed to do---provide services (police, fire and defense) and infrastructure. That is ALL they should be doing.

They've already banned them here in California unless you go to the Casinos, surprisingly the Natives can still have and sell menthol cigs
