You may recall, during one of his few press conferences, he allowed questions from the reporters. It was different from standard questioning by the way Joe looked down and read the reporters name and what media he represented and then the question was asked and answered. Although that was a dead give away, that the Q & A time was scripted, one part wasn't.
That was at the end. He was having such a good time, (bless his heart) he called on someone not on his cheat sheet. You could tell, because Joe said, "I know I shouldn't do this, I'll get in trouble, then called on someone else to ask the question.
I couldn't tell you how he answered because I turned to my friend and we both discussed, who was going to give him hell for going off script. It was funny and I had an idea just how much pressure there is on Joe to get things right.
Joe is a nice guy. Cognitively we all know he's having trouble but we still wish him well at home with his wife. Not in the Oval Office.
