Biden scheduled to head to Delaware as Afghanistan crisis spirals

20 Aug 2021 ~~ By Samuel Chamberlain
President Biden is once again scheduled to head home to Delaware Saturday, as thousands of Americans and Afghan allies remain stranded in Afghanistan following the Taliban’s takeover last weekend.
The White House announced that Biden would leave for Wilmington around midday following a meeting with his national security team to get updated on the situation. Vice President Kamala Harris, who was traveling to Southeast Asia, is expected to attend virtually.
As of late Friday evening, Biden had no public events scheduled for Saturday or Sunday.
The president was originally scheduled to take a long weekend with an early-afternoon departure from the White House on Friday. But the White House said he changed his mind.

Biden’s trip on Saturday would be his 19th to his home state since taking office on Jan. 20.

Biden added Friday that 13,000 people had been flown out of Afghanistan on US military aircraft since Saturday, and thousands more had been evacuated on private charter flights.
However, though the president estimated earlier this week that up to 15,000 Americans remain in Afghanistan, along with up to 65,000 Afghans and families of Afghans who worked with US forces during the war, administration officials have acknowledged that they do not have an exact count of how many are left to get out.

Comment:
We may next hear an announcement that someone in the W.H. has tested positive for Covid-19 and Joey Xi will be extending his stay in the basement of his Delaware home for an extended undetermined period. The bizarre need to hide seems to override the optics in the eyes of America. The question is why?

Maybe he is going to step down...where's his ho VP?

If the Biden family adopted a policy of only talking about successes or pleasantries, what the hell would they talk about in that basement?

so you're comparing a coherent golfer playing with coordinating skills to a guy that will take a nap, a sip of milk and a bowel movement.

My opinion of Joe has always been extremely low. If you don't expect anything of someone how can you
be disappointed?

Imagine the firestorm of rage if Donald Trump simply walked away as the lives of thousands of people
under control of the Taliban hung in the balance.

Biden's presidency is over whether he remains in office of not. This is the guy the democrats stole
a presidential election for?

didn't trump leave USA citizens to die from COVID because he did nothing To help them and said to the media to use bleach as a cure ?

No. I comparing your hypocrisy about Biden going home and trump golfing all the time. It's irrelevant trump is an incompetent fool who destroyed the country and divided it simultaneously.

Oh, get real... Nobody in this country wanted to continue the Forever War and all these War Profiteers will be out of the country by the end of the week.

You got that right. If Trump were POTUS this wouldn't be happening at all. He would have gotten the people and equipment out before giving the Stan to the Taliban. If he didn't the left would be screaming bloody murder and accusing him of everything under the sun.

The left loves covering for that incompetent boob Biden and boy do they have a lot to cover for.

Actually, if Trump were still in, the same thing would happen, but Fox News would be doing glowing pieces on how the Taliban respect traditional values...
