There were 10 - 15k Americans throughout Afghanistan. Most of the people now who have been evacuated now have been Afghans.. not Americans. maybe only a couple thousand Americans. So whats happening now is all those Americans outside of the encircling Taliban checkpoints are having trouble getting through and there have been reports of some being beaten trying to get through. Taliban can grab them now and no one is even going to know.

Meanwhile, Biden refused early on to send U.S. troops out to get any of them back. They are committed to sending out instructional phone texts and emails.... Piece this together now. There
is no way we are going to get all the Americans back by 8/31.

They ARE for all practical purposes now stranded and the Biden administration is trying deny the crisis. We should have been sending out troops to get them back. 6,000 sent wasnt enough, we should have sent 20K at least and set up secure airfields where we could at least operate helecopters from.. and ferry American citizens and Iraqi interpreters to the only remaining airstrip in the country where a plane can take off from.
