The Biden Administration announced changes to the U.S. citizenship test that would make it easier for illegal migrants to become legally part of the country.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services said the changes will make the English-speaking portion of the test easier, as well as reduce the difficulty of the civics section.

The naturalization exam is a crucial part of becoming a citizen, which makes or breaks the outcome for hundreds of thousands of immigrants.

The civics portion will be revised to become a multiple-choice format with each question having four options, as opposed to the previous “fill-in-the-blank” test where candidates have to answer a question from memory.

“Primarily, this is about responding to suggestions from the wider community that we’ve received over the past couple of years and making it fairer,” a USCIS official told CNN.

The new test will go through a trial run where it will enter a five-month trial period with about 1,500 participants in 2023.

This is the latest effort for the Biden Administration to remove barriers to allowing illegal migrants into the country. He curtailed any efforts former President Trump made while in office

Only 12 days after President Joe Biden took office, he signed an executive order that directs government agencies to “identify [and remove] barriers that impede access to immigration benefits.”

In November 2020, Trump declared a new syllabus for the naturalization test, which raised the pass threshold to answer 12 out of 20 questions correctly, compared to 10.

Officials at the time claimed that the test would “provide the applicant with more opportunities to learn about the United States as part of the test preparation process.”

However, the Biden Administration rescinded Trump’s version of the test just months after he left office. ​

It makes me sick to watch this crap. We've got a line of illegals formed at the border. We know they are there and what do we do? We not only don't try to stop them from crossing but we have buses already there with their doors open to take them somewhere in the US. So, you get in a line to illegally cross the border, you cross the border illegally, get on a US bus, are taken to a facility for processing, and are given free medical care, lodging, food, and whatever else you need. While the left amusingly claim they are not for open borders, they have these buses there for illegals to get on as soon as they cross the border. No resistance against them of any kind. Meanwhile, there are millions of homeless American citizens who get pretty much nothing with no medical care, no lodging, no food, and no welcome baskets.

That's just a total partisan bullshit talking point. Even Nancy Pelosi said liberal/progressive Californians need someone to pick the crops. That's why she's helping send buses to the border to pick up illegals without even trying to stop them from crossing and why California is a sanctuary state. And, these people don't need employment. Our government gives them free medical care, lodging, food, transportation, and money. The government is the employer without even requiring these people to work. Did it ever even occur to you that the problem is going to get a whole lot worse, not because employers have just recently put a big help wanted sign up at the border, but because these people know that Title 42 is going away?

Have you seen the streets of El Paso recently? Invaders are sleeping on sidewalks in 35 degree weather. There is no work, there is no shelter. Stand in line for a bowl of beans and hope to get some before they run out. Soon to be in every other city. Until the invaders get desperate.

The issue is in letting people cross the border illegally. We don't have a border patrol, etc to hold their hands while these people get on the bus, they're supposed to be stopping these people. I don't really like to call them invaders. They are not here to invade us and take over the US. Most are here for humanitarian reasons of several different kinds. BUT, that doesn't mean I'm a softy on illegals coming here and the US cannot be an open door for the billions of people in the world who would be better off here than where they currently are. There is a front door and we should make sure the back door is closed tightly. And, I'm not against readjusting our legal means of coming here, depending on the needs of our economy but these people should be self sufficient and not a drain on our economy and that includes anyone born to illegals. I wouldn't be against making sure those wanting to come here illegally know that the back door is closed for business, even if we have to get rough about it.

I guess no one has seen that a federal judge has again put a temporary hold on title 42 ending Dec 21st.
