Oil prices dropped into negative territory while Trump was President because of the dramatic drop in demand due to the pandemic.

Oil is spiking now because of a massive surge in demand while Russia and OPEC are holding back on increasing productivity. They like high oil prices because their economies are wholly dependent on oil.

This is affecting the entire planet, not just the US.

Meanwhile, oil demand is not the only thing spiking. The demand for consumer goods is the highest it has ever been, and that is leading to supply snarls.

Nevertheless, these spikes in demand are a good sign for the stock market, which is why it is at its highest level ever.

Are you saying the oil demand is higher than pre-c19? why high oil demand?Should all the western countries go green? You should not drink the MSM kool-aid and go to read how the US played with OPEC in the 2000's and 2010s. It has little to do with the oil demand. Anyway, when the US had no chips to play, the US can only be a sitting duck.

As you can see below, consumer expenditures are at an all time high. You would be praising Trump for this if he were in office, because this is tremendously good news for our economy.

As a result in this spike of spending and consumerism, the number of shipping containers and the number of container ships at our California ports is also surging tremendously. This is overwhelming the system.

This is great news for our economy. We are busting at the seams!

Just because the shelves LOOK full, doesn't mean there's not shortages. They swap brands and generic things like pizza when they can.. There was a HUGE shortage of Deli Meat products at EVERY Publix in the Nashville area last month. The whole deli case had about 8 choices in it..

And canned/bottled/packaged juice aisles have been sketchy for a month..

And the sliced stuff in the aisles was pretty sparse as well..

I'm hoping while we're in all of this, that food safety doesn't go lacking or we will be in trouble big time.

American farmer's should be looking at feeding this nation first and foremost, and then selling their excesses to the government to ship to needy nation's who qualify for it. We also need to prohibit (big time) foreign nation's owning and controlling our poultry houses, our meat processing plants etc. To me, who ever sold out to foreigners the most of our essential food supply chains, uhhh should be brought up on charges of treason big time. It's that critical in my opinion.

That’s why liberals have removed gifted programs, eliminated the admissions test to the prestigious TJ High School, etc. The leftist racists couldn’t tolerate that these advanced programs were populated by Asians, Jews, and whites, and less so blacks and Latinos.

PJ went to Kroger here in Jackson, TN last week. No shortages, even on paper products. Frozen foods were full. Produce good. They were even running a sale on Breyer's Ice Cream. Life is good in the Mid-South.

TN is a red state. I took my daughter to urgent care earlier today and it was closed due to staffing shortages. Had to take her to another one. Pretty sad.
