It does concern me that Biden is the democratic nominee. The party could do so much better. However, what gives me comfort is knowing how self-destructive Trump is. I can’t imagine the campaign ads Democrat super pacs and the DNC will churn out. They would be so effective. All they would have to do is quote Trump in full context on a variety of issues. There would be no need for any quote to be out of context or be twisted to mean something false. Trump makes himself into an idiot all by itself.
Now granted Trump has changed all the rules since his 2016 election. 10 years ago, if a presidential nominee had mocked a physically disabled reporter at a rally, he would be out of the race in 10 seconds. How Trump changed all that is beyond my understanding but it is what it is.
Nowadays, though, all we have to do is highlight the last 3.5 years of his policy failures and quote him verbatim. It’s a simpler time in that sense at least.
Can you list the policy failures, or compare them with what his opponents wanted him to do?
Trade deals are bad?
A border wall and no longer allowing stop and frisk but having asylum seekers from Mexico wait in their own country rather than a free ride to illegally enter?
Confronting China, hitting them with tariffs and forcing them to sign a Phase 1 deal?
Deregulation and tax cuts?
Making global socialists increase significantly their dues to NATO?
How about stopping travel from China while others called it racist to do so? How many lives did that save?
All of these policies and decisions are each big deals. Each and every one of them, and they are
EXACTLY what an Establishment leader would NOT do. All of these successes even while impeachment proceeding, a 2 year Russia investigation and constant "resistance". That's the fighter America and the West needs.
The fact that
it literally took a global pandemic (conveniently timed as it were) to hurt the U.S economy, says alot. Canada was growing at 0.4%, Europe not much better, while the U.S was 2.5%. while at the same time smacking the communists around.
I may not like all that Trump says and he sometimes does things to hurt himself, but policies are what matter. Who cares about plastic smiling politicians who hang out with other plastic politicians at fancy dinner parties on the taxpayers dime? Protect your citizens, your economy from communists and your sovereignty ffs. Is that too much to ask, or should we all just assume Western liberty is finished for good and bow to the self assigned elite overlords of government?
We need America to succeed, even the dumb shytes in Canada and the E.U who think they have a clue (as long as they are living off others) will eventually realize this fact. There is no future for Western liberalism and democracy which so many fought for if we allow the Communists and global socialist to buy off politicians and influence. How is this more appealing than an imperfect businessman who actually acts and gets things done? You prefer 40 year political careers over fresh approaches that actually work?
Some people say they don't understand how intelligent, educated people can support Trump, I say I don't understand how any intelligent, educated person can't see the inevitable destruction of the West if the policies of old are continued.
