What makes Trump's tweets off limits? It was a public site.
A disction that is meaningless. The truth is, his life wouldnt change one iota if he only had a billion dollars. He buys whatever car he wants, lives in whatever house he wants, etc.By a thread.
That’s pretty typical of the conservative movement these days.
If you don’t want to believe something, you don’t! If you do want to believe something, you do!
This is how you just create a nice safe little alternate reality for yourselves and that’s why things don’t seem to work out the way you expect.
But when they don’t work out the way you expect, you just invent new reasons for why that is.
You guys need to find some courage to live in the real world again. Please!
They had a warrant based on reasonable suspicion. But in the "real world" it would never be legal for the government to demand unspecified communications without proof ahead of time that there was reasonable suspicion of a crime that would warrant the violation of privacy.
Ever hear of Jesse Livermore?A disction that is meaningless. The truth is, his life wouldnt change one iota if he only had a billion dollars. He buys whatever car he wants, lives in whatever house he wants, etc.
If you want me to believe something, you will have to do more than just post a link to some left wing article. Your articles arent trustworthy. Your press lies, and they omit all alternative arguments, and they conceal anything that would exhonerate the opposition. That’s pretty typical of the conservative movement these days.

No. Tell me about Jesse.Ever hear of Jesse Livermore?

My news sources have their biases, but they dont lie to me, and they always tell me what the other sides argument is.

This is nothing but rationalization. It’s not really true. You just tell yourself this so that you can believe whatever you want without having to admit to yourself that’s what you’re really doing. If you want me to believe something, you will have to do more than just post a link to some left wing article. He was The Boy Plunger...made and lost a couple of fortunes...No. Tell me about Jesse.
^ This post didnt convince me either. This is nothing but rationalization. It’s not really true. You just tell yourself this so that you can believe whatever you want without having to admit to yourself that’s what you’re really doing.
Already covered. Are you being obtuse on purpose. Make a point because the questions you are asking are obviously in bad faith. What if he doesn't want/refuses to go or disagrees with the fine and won't pay it?
Where did anyone fine Musk or X 40 billion dollars? Do you even know what you are talking about now?In effect fining Musk 40 billion dollars for refusing to hand over private communiqués which his customers entrusted him to protect thus damaging his business? All over some tweets which the government hasn't even shown has anything illegal or criminal in them just because they are fishing trying to FIND something to support a guilty case before the defendant is even tried? I don't think so.
Massive gains in agendas of the left. You need to give a couple of decades for all of it to settle. And some of it will regress a little. Foundation will be laid though in much of it.He was The Boy Plunger...made and lost a couple of fortunes...
When he went to check out more than his overcoat, he was still worth a substantial amount of money.
No I'm not. Musk is the richest man on the planet, he could afford to build an army with tanks, jets and missiles. What would the government do to arrest him then, go to war? Send in the National Guard? You don't think Musk has the ability to resist the federal government? Does might make right?Already covered. Are you being obtuse on purpose.
Isn't that about what Musk spent on Twitter? If they shut it down, seized it, that would be in effect fining Musk 44 billion dollars for not complying with a fascist state demand.Where did anyone fine Musk or X 40 billion dollars?
ROFLMAO.No I'm not. Musk is the richest man on the planet, he could afford to build an army with tanks, jets and missiles. What would the government do to arrest him then, go to war? Send in the National Guard? You don't think Musk has the ability to resist the federal government? Does might make right?
If they seized it but that was never in the cards, has not been discussed and was never even hinted at by me. I stated that if they did not have the money to pay the fine then they would go out of business.Isn't that about what Musk spent on Twitter? If they shut it down, seized it, that would be in effect fining Musk 44 billion dollars for not complying with a fascist state demand.
Musk's entire fortune (200 billion) would not support the military for a full 4 months
They bought the arguement because Trump is a lowlife criminal. Anything else?Actually, whether ultimately right or wrong, Twitter’s objections were to the non disclosure order more than they were to the disclosure order itself. Twitter argues that it has a first amendment right to speak to its own customers and that the non disclosure order amounted to a prior restraint on free speech.
It did delay production even thereafter apparently because it couldn’t aggregate all of the Trump posts swiftly enough.
They hadn’t argued in time that the penalty formula was improper.
The government’s worries about the former President possibly destroying evidence if alerted to the warrant prematurely seems to assume that he would behave like Shrillary Clinton. I can’t explain why the 3 judges bought that nonsense.
What if fairies sprinkled magic dust on Musk and he flew to Mars to enlist the help of the Venitions visiting there to overthrow the government and replace it with a utopia? So you're saying that Biden's Feds would spend four months and 200 billion dollars and countless lives if necessary trying to bust one guy just to get a tweet just to see if there is anything in it they can use to bust Trump with to keep him from beating Biden in the general election?
What if Musk and ten other super rich joined forces? Is resistance to tyranny still futile?
Would Joe burn the country to the ground rather than not get his man?
