Our government is heavily involved in our economy. It maintains a monetary system, a legal system, enforces trade laws, protects our interests abroad, protects patentsWhen oil was booming....so was Venezuela
They rubbed our capitalist noses in it by providing cheap fuel oil to Americas poor families
And what might your point be?
I hope you have now correctly identified that the problem in Venezuela is socialism.
Let me make it simple then
The U.S. Economy is not Venezuelas
Just because Venezuela is failing is not justification for the U.S. To do nothing to help its citizens
Let's make it really simple so even you can understand: Socialism is a failure. Can't condense it more than that.
Because socialism fails everywhere, that is a justification for ANYONE reasonable not to attempt it.
The U.S. Maintains socialist programs and we are the most successful economy on earth
The success of USA is entirely due to LACK of government coercion, and the tradition of honoring freedoms. A culture which has unfortunately dwindled, with the economy, in the last 100 years.
But no, USA is not the most successful economy on earth today, according to pretty much every indicator you can think of. We can thank those socialist programs for that.
It also provides services for We the People
That "honoring freedoms" for 100 years has included 40 hour workweek, workplace safety, child protection, environmental protections, anti-discrimination laws, local business ordinances
