No oil can get out of Venezuela under the current socialist government. They don't have the means. The infrastructure is crumbling, they can't get it out, and even if they could they can't refine it.

Right now they're doing about a million barrels a day, so 50 million barrels is about a sixth of the yearly output. IF they had the technology they could make up for it, but they don't, so they can't.

So what if they do? The interventionist attitude has done nothing for us. We need to become the neutral arbitrator outside of our hemisphere, while leading by example within it. Globalization has failed, that ended up strengthening China while weaken us. Time for a new approach. One without long term foreign entanglements.

I am sure that isolationist idea was toyed with and long term, no benefits to the US. This country has way too many geopolitical interest around the globe. If isolationism works, the US would close 95% of the military bases around the world.

The strengthening of China was because of corporate greed and government excessive regulations, fraud, and reckless spending, which leads to higher taxes. Combine those ingredients and we have a recipe for disaster. The ones paying the price are the average Joes and Janes.

For starters, we need to look after citizens first and revamp the entire immigration and citizenship policies. The current policies and laws are from a bygone era. Those who made these policies would never imagine in the future that the US would open the border and allow unfettered invasion while handing out citizenship to invaders. As long as the country remains intact, the demise would continue to multiply.

President Donald Trump said Tuesday evening that the interim authorities in Venezuela will be turning over between 30 million to 50 million barrels of oilto the United States.

Trump, in a social media post, said the oil will be sold at its market price, “and that money will be controlled by me, as President of the United States of America, to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States!”

Apparently, the US will divide the oil revenue between the US and Venezuela. So, the next question is whether remnants of the Maduro regime will now be allowed to remain in power. Sounds like a bribe. If so, does that mean the US will no longer care about the regime shipping drugs to the US? I thought the primary purpose of the military strike was to stop the drugs flowing!

Venezuela is falling apart at the seams. Oil revenues are the only income keeping the nation financially afloat. More chaos is inevitable.

We will see.

They need to give us something for removing that drug running democrat.
