Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!

"Came in first in New Hampshire....Iowa...."

And they want to claim us Rednecks are the dumb ones...

What did the Mueller report say? Just what has Trump done to benefit Russia? Anything?

I'd actually hard to believe that anyone out there still believes the "Trump/Russia collusion" hoax. You people were hornswaggled, big time, and you took the bait hook, line, and sinker.

Whether or not Trump benefitted Russia was not germane to the boundaries and purpose of the Mueller Investigation.

You should probably read it sometime -

Although few of you have the reading comprehension and attention span to go beyond the 4 page Billy Barr summary.

Ok then. Disregarding the Mueller investigation, just how did Trump conspire with the Russian to "steal" the 2016 election?

And just what concessions or benefits did they receive in return? And if they did receive something in return, what are we giving them today?

Clearly, you are not paying attention - NOR do you or I have the time to wade through the mountain of evidence including over 150 contacts between Trump campaign people and Russia in the run-up to election in 2016 (ALL of which were LIED about)

So some people had business dealings with Russia and some were caught up in a perjury trap. Is it illegal to conduct business with Russia?

Just what "mountain of evidence" are you referring to? Did the Mueller report convict Trump of any wrongdoing? If so, why wasn't that included in the impeachment trial? I don't remember hearing the word "Russia" throughout that entire shitshow, do you?

I'm not interested in what some wordy report says. I want it straight from your mouth: Exactly how did Donald Trump conspire with the Russians to "steal" the election, to influence the voters, or to otherwise benefit Putin, the Russian government, or the country of Russia?

Has Trump done anything to benefit them militarily, economically, socially, what?

Another one who isn't paying a bit of attention ^ Sad :(

Paying attention to what? A bunch of Crayola and Tide Pod-eating wacko leftist conspiracy theorists, howling like monkeys over some imaginary link between Trump and Russia?

Tell me, why should I even give you zipperheads ten milliseconds of my attention? To be honest, I did try to understand your point of view but the more I listened, the more I could feel my IQ dropping by the second.

Zipperheads. I love it. Just trying to figure out what eating a Tide Pod will do for anyone? Gives you Siddhis?

I am reminded of an old adage about a hesitant cat, which is caught motionless because it wants to leap forward but doesn't quite dare. The Democrats are that cat, now. Do they risk springing forward with Sanders, who has boiling enthusiasm on his side, and try to present him as a suitable president? Or, do they keep holding back, denying him wholehearted support in the hope that someone else will get the nomination. If they do that, they risk merely weakening his chances of success and commensurately boosting those of Trump.

I don't believe you are structuring that correctly.

What choice do they have?

At this point, .....it's the Marxist.

That's Karma.....they've been pushing communism since the 32nd President, Stalin's BFF.

If you look at policies and not personalities, the Dem Left (Sanders and Warren) got about 45% in Iowa and 36% in NH. I suspect if it comes down to a single Leftist vs a single Moderate, Bernie will lose. He couldn't even beat Hillary last time.

Bernie's policies are the same as the CPUSA, and the current Democrat Party.

“Where has socialism ever worked?”

The DNC will have no choice but to support him if he wins the nomination.

He has no chance, whatsoever, of winning the nomination. As far to the radical left the Democrat Party has moved, they know they cannot win, impossible to win, with an openly Socialist candidate.

Bernie's policies are the same as the CPUSA, and the current Democrat Party.
Sorry, none of the three are the same.

“Speaking at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, Danish PM Lars Løkke Rasmussen told students that he had “absolutely no wish to interfere the presidential debate in the US” but nonetheless attempted to set the record straight about his country.

"I know that some people in the US associate the Nordic model with some sort of socialism. Therefore I would like to make one thing clear. Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy. Denmark is a market economy,” Rasmussen said.

The PM’s comments come after US presidential hopefuls Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton used part of the first Democratic debate to discuss how the United States could emulate Scandinavia.” Danish PM in US: Denmark is not socialist

"For many on the left, the answer to the last question is “the Scandinavian countries.” The problem, however, is that the Scandinavian countries have, by some measures, freer markets than the US, which the left sees as the archetype of capitalism. At the very least, they are not significantly different from the US in their degree of economic freedom.

Abolishing markets does not describe the Scandinavian countries, though it does capture a lot of what was going on in Venezuela. Socialism, at least historically, did not simply mean “a large welfare state” as we see in Scandinavia. In fact, the only way countries can afford larger welfare states is to have economies productive enough to produce the wealth that can be taxed away to support such programs. This is why the Scandinavian countries deregulated (and lowered tax rates) so much in the last decade or two: only through freer markets could they afford their transfer programs.

If you love the Scandinavian model, you don’t love socialism. You love market capitalism, because that’s what makes that model possible. (Whether large welfare states are necessary or desirable is a matter for another column.)

As you know, they do not have Socialism. In spite of that, their systems, admired by Bernie and other far-left proponents, is failing.

Finland: Government Collapses Over Universal Health Care Costs, #Bernie2020 Hardest Hit
Posted by Fuzzy Slippers Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 7:30pm

The Washington Free Beacon continues:

Reuters reports that soaring treatment costs and longer life spans have particularly affected Nordic countries.

“Nordic countries, where comprehensive welfare is the cornerstone of the social model, have been among the most affected,” according to Reuters. “But reform has been controversial and, in Finland, plans to cut costs and boost efficiency have stalled for years.”

"Similar problems are bedeviling Sweden and Denmark, two other countries frequently held up as models to follow on health care. Finland’s crisis in particular comes as calls for universal health care have grown louder among Democrats in the United States.

Bernie is a Marxist.

The Democrat Party stands for the same things the CPUSA did....they just want to hide that from the electorate.

1. " [At] the University of Chicago, Sanders joined the Young People’s Socialist League, the youth wing of the Socialist Party USA. He also organized for a communist front, the United Packinghouse Workers Union, which at the time was under investigation by the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

2. ...graduating with a political science degree, Sanders moved to Vermont, where he headed the American People’s History Society, an organ for Marxist propaganda. There, he produced a glowing documentary on the life of socialist revolutionary Eugene Debs, who was jailed for espionage during the Red Scare and hailed by the Bolsheviks as “America’s greatest Marxist.” Don’t be fooled by Bernie Sanders — he’s a diehard communist | New York Post

a. Eugene Victor Debs, Bernie's paragon: "... Debs agreed with the left wing of the Socialist Party—people like Bill Haywood and Mother Jones, who would help found the Industrial Workers of the World (the 'Wobblies). They advocated workers taking control where the power of the ruling class was rooted—in the factories. ... Within the SP, members had verydifferent ideas about socialism and how it would be achieved. Some believed in socialism as a steady increase in social reforms achieved by socialists being elected to political office—others looked to a revolutionary transformation of society.....

Eventually, those leftists who remained in the SP quit to help form a new Communist Party on the model of what Lenin and the Bolsheviks had built in Russia. Debs, while he supported the Russian Revolution and remained a revolutionary, nonetheless stayed in the SP." Socialism according to Eugene V. Debs

Still imagine there is any great difference between socialists and communists....and Bernie?

3. This subversive hero of Sanders, [Eugene Victor Debs,] denounced even by liberal Democrats as a “traitor,” bashed “the barons of Wall Street” and hailed the “triumphant” Bolshevik revolution in Russia.

Those Russian comrades of ours have made greater sacrifices, have suffered more, and have shed more heroic blood than any like number of men and women anywhere on Earth,” Debs proclaimed. “They have laid the foundation of the first real democracy that ever drew the breath of life in this world.” Socialism according to Eugene V. Debs

4. "In a 1918 speech in Canton, Ohio, Debs reaffirmed his solidarity with Lenin and Trotsky, despite clear evidence of their violent plunder and treachery. Sanders still hangs a portrait of Debs on the wall in his Senate office." NYPost, Op. Cit.

This Trotsky: "We must rid ourselves once and for all of the Quaker-Papist babble about the sanctity of human life."
Now about the Democrat Party elite, Bernie Sanders: Communist, Socialist, Liberal, and Progressive

5." ... Sanders helped found the Liberty Union Party, which called for the nationalization of all US banks and the public takeover of all private utility companies. [Before Maxine Waters, too!]

... Sanders in 1981 managed to get elected mayor of Burlington, Vt., where he restricted property rights for landlords, set price controls and raised property taxes to pay for communal land trusts. Local small businesses distributed fliers complaining their new mayor “does not believe in free enterprise.”

6. His radical activities didn’t stop at the water’s edge. Sanders took several “goodwill” trips not only to the USSR, but also to Cuba and Nicaragua, where the Soviets were trying to expand their influence in our hemisphere.

In 1985, he traveled to Managua to celebrate the rise to power of the Marxist-Leninist Sandinista government. He called it a “heroic revolution.” Undermining anti-communist US policy, Sanders denounced the Reagan administration’s backing of the Contra rebels in a letter to the Sandinistas.

“The Sandinista government has more support among the Nicaraguan people — substantially more support — than Ronald Reagan has among the American people,” Sanders told Vermont government-access TV in 1985." Don’t be fooled by Bernie Sanders — he’s a diehard communist | New York Post

(BTW...Ortega and the Sandinistas were voted out of power in 1990. Ortega ran for election again, in October 1996 and November 2001, but lost on both occasions)

7. "Sanders also adopted a Soviet sister city outside Moscow and honeymooned with his second wife in the USSR. He put up a Soviet flag in his office, shocking even the Birkenstock-wearing local liberals. At the time, the Evil Empire was on the march around the world, and threatening the US with nuclear annihilation.

Then, in 1989, as the West was on the verge of winning the Cold War, Sanders addressed the national conference of the US Peace Council — a known front for the Communist Party USA, whose members swore an oath not only to the Soviet Union but to “the triumph of Soviet power in the US.” Don’t be fooled by Bernie Sanders — he’s a diehard communist | New York Post

8."Today, Sanders wants to bring what he admired in the USSR, Cuba, Nicaragua and other communist states to America.

For starters, he proposes completely nationalizing our health care system and putting private health insurance and drug companies “out of business.” He also wants to break up “big banks” and control the energy industry, while providing “free” college tuition, a “living wage” and guaranteed homeownership and jobs through massive public works projects.

Price tag: $18 trillion.

Who will pay for it all? You will. Sanders plans to not only soak the rich with a 90 percent-plus tax rate, while charging Wall Street a “speculation tax,” but hit every American with a “global-warming tax.”

Of course, even that wouldn’t cover the cost of his communist schemes; a President Sanders would eventually soak the middle class he claims to champion. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need, right?

9. Sanders and his Sanderistas are all still pining for what Debs called “the Greater Revolution yet to come.”

What’s revolting is how this hardcore commie’s campaign has gotten this far. With his ascendancy in both Iowa and New Hampshire, Sanders is no longer just a fool; he’s now a dangerous fool.

While it may be hard to hate the old codger, it’s easy — and virtuous — to hate his un-American ideas. They should be swept into the dustbin with the rest of communist history."

Sounds horrible, private health insurance, drug companies, “big banks”, and the energy industry are some of our most cherished institutions. I'm sure no real American would want “free” college tuition, a “living wage” or guaranteed home ownership.

Which of these polices are not found in the Scandinavian countries?

You had to go back pretty far to smear Sanders. I guess by your measure Trump is a pro-choice Democrat who would invite the Clintons to his wedding.

Amusing how, when I smash a custard pie in your ugly kisser, you Leftists attempt to simply wander off.....slither off.

You wrote this:

Ryan is right about the effect Bernie Sanders would have on the democrat party. It would devastate them...heh heh heh.
That's so sad but that's what happens when your party has been a covert socialist safe space for decades.
Am I right, Comrade Obama?

However if he thinks train wreck combined with dumpster fire candidate Joe Biden will save them he is smoking crack! Or something like it.

The democrats have already made their bed so they had better get used to the idea of sleeping in it! The question now is how do they pull it together for 2024 after courting socialists for decades and running all the moderates out of the party
for at least that long too?

I don't think the party of Pelosi, Schumer and Schiff is capable of turning that train around. We may be looking at the beginning of the end for the democrats and remember how just a few years ago goofballs like Gavin Newsom
and Andrew Cuomo were seriously discussing the end of the republican party?

The hubris, their hate, their smug narcissism have not served the democrat party well at all. They are in for a massive ass kicking in a few months.

From your keyboard to God's in-box!!!

Yup.....and they will do everything they can to find any candidate other than Bernie....
The calculation is lose in a 40 state landslide with anonymous, or lose all 57 of Obama's states with Bernie.

But there may be violence if they snatch the nomination from Comrade Bernie.
