The commie thing started big-time in the early Thirties with Social Security, and it has been a staple in the Republican labeling department ever since. Republicans have tried other names and deeds like the birth certificate thing but nothing has worked as well as the commie and socialist thing. Those labels have served the Republicans well for almost a hundred years now and to some they still seem as fresh as when Alf Landon used them on the Social Security bill in 1935. At one time there was talk of Republicans building a monument to Karl Marx but it was dropped.

So businesses just spring up miraculously because someone builds a road? Where does the money to build the roads come from? Are you aware of the fact that private developers build most of the local roads in an area? When Boeing built a factory in South Carolina, it built the road to the factory, not the State of South Carolina.

On Aug. 8, 1935, the conference report — the final version of the Social Security bill that melded together changes made in the House and in the Senate — passed in the House 372-33, with 81 Republicans voting in support. The next day, the bill was passed in the Senate 77-6, with 16 Republicans supporting the legislation.

Every small business owner has paid their share into the public funds that are used to construct public infrastructure, most at least twice (business and individual income taxes). In most cases, they've paid a whole lot more into those funds than your common, run-of-the-mill, EIC sucking, almost human leeches, who also use the same roads and bridges as the small business owners.
Small business owners are, however, smart enough to use the infrastructure they have invested in to improve their own business and income. They most likely view "roads and bridges" as an investment, unlike obamoids (useless blobs of flesh hanging on an asshole), who view "roads and bridges" as a god-given right, a blessing from their almighty government gods.
