Oh, yeah ---- bailout because a lot of tech companies canNOT make payroll without the loans they got from SVB and other such banks. And if that puts them all out of business ------------- problem.

I see a bailout coming. Yet another bailout.

And they aren't going to say that...for fear of exacerbating a tenuous situation or even creating a self fulfilling prophecy.

Nobody wants to be blamed for a run on the banks.

It was the incredible speed of this collapse...as noted by The Hill, it's virtually unheard of for a bank to collapse in a day.

It will shake depositors faith in the security of the banking sector as a whole.

Monday will tell the tale.

A failure on a Friday may have been fortuitous...everyone has the weekend to reassure themselves that everything is fine.

If they haven't convinced themselves by Monday...except to see more collapses.

Look for a lot of reassuring media coverage...this was an isolated incident...no worries ... nothing to see here...yada, yada, yada.

It will probably work.
