Its more ignorance and arrogance than anything else to believe JQA was a founding father indicates an ignorance of the countrys early history. No person (running for president) could be THAT stupid. Or could she REALLY be that dumb?
Here's what I want to see. Let's have next year's Republican nominee for president have at least one debate with President Obama just about the US Constitution and Supreme Court cases. That would be worth the price of admission.
It would indeed.
Of course if the nominee were a libertarian/TPM type hed bail on the Supreme Court cases portion of the debate because 200 plus years of High Court rulings are all wrong.
Specifically, which Obama policies have been a "train wreck
?
How can one make a train wreck out of a train wreck?
Bachmann's wildly off-base assertion last month that a NATO airstrike might have killed as many as 30,000 Libyan civilians, her misrepresentations of the health care law, misfires on other aspects of President Barack Obama's record and historical inaccuracies have saddled her with a reputation for uttering populist jibes that don't hold up. On Tuesday, she erred in describing John Quincy Adams as a Founding Father.
They may not hold up for those outside of the TPM universe, but for TPM faithful it confirms Bachmann as an everywoman and intensifies their hate for the intellectual elite.
