Baby dies after man allegedly tricks girlfriend into taking an abortion pill

Your argument, doll. I just applied it equally to women, since you felt it was good enough for men.

Sorry you have such a low opinion of your own sex; must be a bummer for your self-image.

It can't be murder. You can't have it both ways. Either a baby is a person, and this is murder, or a baby isn't a person and abortion is ok. Saying that we get to decide whether a person is a person on a case by case basis is wrong, and evil. That is how we had slavery and basically every genocide in history

It doesn't really matter what I think. What matters is the law, and the law says that this is murder.

It matters in the sense that it's entirely ridiculous. Although for you it's fairly immaterial as you're not in the US, if you were, and you thought as I do that this law is asinine and hypocritical, you might try to see it changed.

I, on the other hand, am far too apathetic to do that....although I'll happily opine about it here.

I don't pretend to understand your laws. What I do understand is that the woman has the right to choose, this woman chose to carry to term, and her boyfriend gave her a drug to make her miscarry, thus violating her right.

Well, which is it? Is he guilty of murder or is he guilty of violating her right? Your opinion?

Legally he may be guilty of murder. I think at the very least, the charges should be severe assault causing grievous bodily harm.

The law once said killing a Mormon wasn't murder and forcing yourself on your wife wasn't rape. The law in the U.S. still permits the State to forcefully sterilize people.

So saying something is the law really means absolutely nothing when we're discussing what ought to be regarding the subject at hand. You might as well state the day of the week or mention that Earth revolves around Sun.
