Average teachers pay vs average pay.

Just wondering why is it always (well it seems always) anecdotal with you?

"I know someone", "Someone told me", "I met a lady the other day" - paraphrased - and you then extend the anecdotes to everyone in the country?

Well - I know a teacher in Richmond that makes $12,000 a year and teaches 27 one hour classes a day. That anecdotal information is a direct contradiction to your anecdotal information.

Just to repeat - you can't effectively compare "National" numbers to ANY profession because of pay and cost of living impacts on the local compensation rates.

WW
She does this with many topics. She worked in marketing, but apparently knows all these people in federal gov who steal time by working at home, taking three hour lunches, and cutting out at 2pm to play tennis. She makes up the dumbest crap.

I am aware of teacher's pay in ID. The teacher I know is paid $48K/year with a masters. A supplemental funding levy was just denied by the voters. Now the parents are whining because class sizes are increasing due to teachers being laid off, extra-curriculars are being cut and bussing is being cut. Teachers are not paid commensurate to their value in many cases.
Education is invested with the same mentalities as everything else that is wrong in government in America. The USA is always in the top five countries that are reported to spend the most per student on education. But the other top four are all at or near the top of the list in education excellence. The USA is I think #31 or in that area.

So all that money is apparently not being used to educate children. Follow the money and I'm pretty sure it will be found to be mostly feeding a massive bureaucracy. Leave most money with the local communities to run their own schools, get the NEA out of it entirely and stop all this 'woke' crap, and I am pretty sure American education will be back up in the top five within a generation.

I think teachers earn a fair wage

They may make less than other degreed workers but 180 days a year is not 220 days a year
Teachers do not work 180 days a year, dumbass! Most work 192 paid days and a lot more for training (weeks) which are unpaid but required because there are no students in the school. They also work 12 hours a day minimum.

It’s obvious you’re in denial.

And you must be a liberal. Whenever they can’t refute a point, they resort to “liar!” Or white suoremacist. Or Nazi.
I'm in denial?! lol You had a near-do-well job in your vague "marketing" position.

You then said you became "self-employed." That's code for yeah-I-got-canned-and-never-recovered. You're now a 68 year old childless banshee ranting on society.

You are wrong again, libtard.

TEACHER EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT

"The most common degree for teachers is bachelor's degree, with 64% of teachers earning that degree. The second and third most common degree levels are master's degree at 15% and associate degree at 10%."

That's surprising. In my state it's about 65%, and higher than that in my district. Almost everyone I know has a Master's in my district.

Step 1 to solving education problem:

Forbid students to wear pajama bottoms to school.
