Zone1 Atheists have nothing to say against faith in God

If you condemn respect for people because they believe in God - which you do with your intentionally disrespectful language - then you are indeed a militant atheist. Your counterparts would be racist southerners who disrespected blacks and racist Germans who disrespected Jews. But instead of disrespecting a class of people based upon ethnicity, you choose to disrespect a class of people based upon creed. I mean I really wish I could meet your kind in person.
Just because others don’t believe what you do has nothing to do with respect
You can believe any fantasy you wish

It's YOUR perception of God that is lacking.
What perception might that be? More of your absurd inability to know? Yes, I’m sure that’s it. Or would you like to quote something I’ve said?
What evidence would you accept?
Provide some and we’ll see.
I don't believe there is any evidence you would accept.
So, I am right ………. you've read most of my posts to this thread but you have no English comprehension to know what the words mean.
This is all fun and games to you.
The subject itself isn’t but when dealing with a complete bonzo as yourself, fun and games is the best way to endure. I guess you haven’t noticed.
You don't possess the intellect or honesty for this discussion.
:206: You poor baby ..... :crybaby:

I believe that you accept superstitious hokus-pokus and you consider evidence to the contrary as being a diversion.
What do you believe? Not what I believe. What do you believe?

What I (we) do not believe is infinitely more important than what we do believe. Anyway, you wrote in your OP, “atheists have nothing to say against faith in God”. If that's true then I believe that's a good thing. But didn’t I already tell you that? Is there something else you'd like to know about what I believe?

That would be a first.

Laughing leads to crying.

Sometimes. :)

I win again :thanks:

You won't own it because you know it's wrong. There's your proof of God right there. When man violates right and wrong, rather than abandoning it, he rationalizes he didn't do it.

You're not a serious poster. Why?

reading and comprehension:

"Of course members of the "Church" were scientists and there's a long history of that with arguments about who said what, who believed what, etc .. but none of that negates the facts about Religious People Attacking Science "
The issue is your prior characterization.

Religious people have been fighting against scientific discoveries since science was first made public.
Which I disagree with because its weight actually does negate your assertion. My reading comprehension is fine. I was able to easily read your bias.

A single cell organism is "living"
Yes. 100%. Learn some science. But how many single cell organisms do you think are being aborted? Maybe try a less disingenuous argument next time. Like it's just some tissue or it's not a person.

Or here's a novel approach... just say you know abortion is ending a human life and you are ok with that. Because at least that would be an honest argument.

In the minds of some people yes, but what god?

"You don't believe in 2,999 Gods, and I don't believe in just one more" - Ricky G.
Please not that childish argument again. Maybe move up to God is a meanie.

Ok, but when you were looking what were you expecting to find?
A genuine two-way conversation with "God" would have been nice.

Still might be, though I hope he would be willing and ready for my questions.

Maybe try asking God what he would like you to do for him. Or maybe try sitting in silence loving God for who God is and see what happens. Both work for me. All I can tell you is that God transformed me in such a way that now I see things as they are and not how I want them to be. It's quite powerful. All the learning centers of the mind get switched on. And peace through the storm is pretty nice too.

Great. . .

Tell him to look me up!

It doesn't work that way. Whether you believe in him or not, he is pruning you. He's just fine with that relationship. But the real power comes from having a relationship with God. According to Darwin, if belief in God had no functional advantage, then it would have died out long ago.

I understand your beliefs. I done been born and raised southern baptist, got myself dunked and the whole nine yards. So I know how it supposedly works.

It just doesn't work for me in any kind of objectively verifiable way.
