Atheism is a religion of self-worship

No, it's just that when anyone tries to bring in religion as the decider of human morality they're in for a flogging because it's so easy to debunk it.
 
I'm afraid it is much the opposite. Without God there are no moral absolutes therefor you are standing on completely slippery ground.

Not without God there are not. If I am the god of my universe then I may find it perfectly acceptable to kill whomever I please. Though you may think that killing someone is immoral, who are you to tell me that it isn't.

Just leaving God out of it for a moment - are there any moral absolutes? If so, what are they?

When the unthinking waste of life counters any of the points made (or at least puts forth some kind of real effort), it might be worthy of some iota of respect.

Not until then, though.
