"IT" is already over. A few ships patrolling the Gulf and strait are "busniness as usual" since 1979.

The regime is collapsing. They can't even meet or decide what to do. President Trump is pulling back and letting them blow themselves up now. Enjoy. In a few days they have no where to store their OIL. The wells will self destruct? Maybe we will take that from them too? To cover the cost of Terrorism. Let this be a lesson to those who blow up innocents for no reason.

President Trump released a statement on his decision to cancel his envoys’ trip to Pakistan:

I just cancelled the trip of my representatives going is Islamabad, Pakistan, to meet with the Iranians. Too much time wasted on traveling, too much work! Besides which, there is tremendous infighting and confusion within their “leadership.” Nobody knows who is in charge, including them. Also, we have all the cards, they have none! If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP

When will the quagmire be over?
As of April 25, 2026, there is no definitive end date for the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran.

Trump has extended the ceasefire indefinitely, while negotiations remain stalled and a U.S. naval blockade continues. While earlier projections suggested a quick resolution, officials are now engaging in long-term pressure tactics.
geez, we are only now starting to end the quagmire of WWII and being bogged down in europe as part of NATO so hopefully we have learned that lesson but something tells me we are going to extricate ourselves from that mess just so we can start a "new alliance" in the middle east, so I am going to guess we will be there as long as we were stuck in europe.

Well, to be honest, you could also hold up the two aircraft carriers that are in dry dock because they were worthless pieces of shit as examples of a failed operation.

You could also hold up the fact that our allies shot down three of our own planes as example examples of a failed operation.

You could also hold up a failed attempt to secure the nuclear material of Iran that resulted in multiple hundred million dollar vehicle damages as being examples of a failed operation.

You could also hold up the inability of Trump to rally allies to our aid as an example of a failed operation.

You could also hold up the fact that we achieved it, none of our stated missions, which were ever changing, as an example of a failed operation

I could do this all day.

Typically there are always a couple aircraft carriers in dry dock. They get rotated. and if there was a problem with our readyness... what does that say about the previous administration? After 4 years of the varsity team I would expect our fleet to ne top notch.... but anyways I believe the reported demise of our military is an over exaggeration.

"You could also hold up the fact that our allies shot down three of our own planes as example examples of a failed operation."
In any major conflict, there are set backs.. in WW2... how many planes and ships did we lose in various instances? Pearl Harbor comes to mind... yet the war ended up being a victory.

You could also hold up the fact that we achieved it, none of our stated missions, which were ever changing, as an example of a failed operation

Two months in right? ....were you that kid when half an hour in on the road trip vacation was constantly asking "ARE WE THERE YET?"

So anyhoo...

Trump's global economic terrorism does not seem to be working. China and Russia are getting stronger and richer. Our allies retreat even further from us, as they take advantage of their foresight in investing in alternative energy sources.

Trump's efforts to castrate Ukraine took a huge blow, when Hungary ousted its Putin puppet.

Trump stands on an island, with only a fellow criminal (Bibi) there to tell him how awesome he is.

So now the countdown to the falling out between Trump and Bibi begins.

China's economy is collapsing, which is why they're so desperate to jack up exports.

Hungary just showed it was a democracy, not a dictatorship.

Trump is a lame duck. He doesn't care what you filthy degenerates think.

So the countdown to the demise of your Mullahs begins.

Their 'alternative energy sources' are American LNG exports.

You really suck at this stuff. Try reading the real news and not what your homo peers at the NYT tell you to parrot.

Trump is now evoking Vietnam as his model for his Iran war.

Trump lashed out at a reporter on Thursday for asking when the U.S. war against Iran will end.
During an event in the Oval Office, a reporter asked Trump what his message was to Americans facing higher gas prices as the war approaches its 2-month mark. The reporter noted that the war has been longer than the six-week deadline Trump initially set for the conflict last month.
Trump responded by attacking the reporter before bizarrely talking about the Vietnam War.
“You’re such a disgrace. So you know what I just said: Vietnam. How many years was Vietnam? How many years was Vietnam?” he asked the reporter...

How have we won? We did sacrifice American lives. Over a dozen soldiers dead so far, or at least admitted to. This military action will go down as one of the biggest Follies of any president in the history of our country. Nobody wanted this war. We won nothing from this war. We only lost from this war. This is a war, even though Trump will not call it a war, but of course he does call it a war, but of course it isnt a war, or is it a war?
A "war" with a dozen dead? Out of that dozen the KC-135 tanker crash in Iraq killed 6, not enemy fire. Its a tragedy either way, but not as many casualties as a ground invasion would incur.
If we "lost" from this war then the JCPOA was nonsense, there was no need to restrict Iran's access to nuclear weapons.
Then giving Iran $56,000,000,000 to develop nuclear weapons and ICBMs was traitorous.
It doesn't matter what its called, what matters is if we allow Iran's vicious regime to develop nuclear weapons and ICBMs.
Why do you want Iran to have nuclear weapons and ICBMs?

Peace talks were canceled.

Yeah, we probably realized they were not serious and stalling for time. Which is not unusual for them. It's the way they have negotiated in the past. In that case then, action speaks louder than words at the BS negotiating table. This probably is not a bad move at this time, so when they are Really serious there may be negotiations.
What might be happening is that their leadership is so fractured that even if one faction makes a deal, communications might not be so well throughout their generals ranks, or there is not one person powerful to keep them all in line.

Why do you want Iran to have nuclear weapons and ICBMs?
If you want Iran to develop nuclear weapons, threaten its existence, and fail to secure its nuclear materials stockpile.

A "war" with a dozen dead?
Total Iran war death toll as of April 23, 2026: Iran: 3,468 confirmed killed (Foundation of Martyrs official figure, April 19 2026 — excludes unreported military casualties). Lebanon: 2,300+ killed in Israeli strikes. US: 13 service members killed, 303 wounded. Israel: 23 killed.

So now the chairborne warriors are not calling it a war again.

Iran was weeks away from nuclear weapons and ICBMs.

Trump stopped them, and is insisting that they commit to not developing them.

Trump expects to secure Iran's nuclear stockpile before stopping the blockade, enforcing the "no nukes" policy militarily.

How many dead American soldiers = a war?
Co-pilot says at least 25 "combat casualties" a year is the threshold for a "war".
That probably includes both sides, so yes, Iran v USA is technically a "war".

Says who? Trump obliterated them last year..
Trump stopped them, and is insisting that they commit to not developing them.
Like what we had before Trump?

Bullshit. Trump is trying to get out now.

There is no credible evidence that Iran was weeks away from developing nuclear weapons and ICBMs.

"Insisting they commit to not developing them"?

Iran had committed to not developing them. Trump cancelled the agreement.

Nearly 10 years ago, the United States and other world powers reached a landmark nuclear agreement with Iran...
Two years after the deal went into effect, Trump withdrew the U.S. from the nuclear accord, in one of the most significant foreign policy actions during his first term as president.

There is no credible evidence that Iran was weeks away from developing nuclear weapons and ICBMs.

They admitted they had enough nuclear material to be close to producing 11 nukes.
"Insisting they commit to not developing them"?

You f-ing BELIEVE them??? They've lied about EVERYTHING.
How dumb are you?
Seriously.
Just how goddam dumb are you?
