As Republicans imagine the post-Trump era...

Our President is not above the law
Not only does he have rights, he has an army of lawyers pulling every string to be sure the American people don’t see his tax returns

The Fourth and Fifth Amendments to the Constitution are the law. He has the same right that all Americans have, to privacy regarding his personal records. That is the law.

I always find it amusing when lawless filth such as yourself try to give lip service to the rule of law, in arguing for acts of lawlessness and corruption.
Wrong again Skippy!

Congress has the Constitutional right to investigate the President.

He is not above the law

The point remains.

This country has had a consensus on equality for blacks since the mid 60s.

The Race Card is the false accusation of racism from lefties aimed at their enemies.

It is worth noting, that we have anti-white race riots occurring right now, with dem mayors ordering the police to stand down so that the mobs can terrorize and attack whites.

That is the real issue of racism in America today.

We need better trade policy, and no immigration, so there are better jobs, so that black men, can be providers and husbands.

New York is investigating Trump
He will not have that “I am the President” card
Another nothing burger. His tax returns will show he makes a lot of money. They won't show anything else.
Remember when someone leaked one year of Trump's returns to Rachel Maddow, and she revealed them live on her show...and there was nothing damning?

That was hilarious. I thought she was going to cry.

If Trump is so clean, why does he go to the Supreme Court to keep the rest from being revealed ??
I think you've laundered tens of thousands in drug money.

Let's see your tax returns.

I would not run to the Supreme Court if Prosecutors subpoened my tax returns.
None of that matters. If you have nothing to hide, post your returns.

Or keep whining that the rules are different for you.

race card still in the deck

‘Tom Cotton's most notable racial dog whistle was a controversial New York Times column calling for sending in federal troops to put down any violence in the racial justice protests after the murder of George Floyd.
[…]
Cotton's description of a country ablaze with violence was grossly exaggerated; he cherry picked polls to buttress the military take over of major American cities and distorted historical parallels.

Cotton's proposals - opposed by leading military leaders like former defense chief James Mattis - had a racial predicate.

[Josh] Hawley sided with President Trump in strongly opposing removing the names of Confederate generals from current military bases. His stance was in contrast to most Republican congressional leaders and prominent military figures like Gen. David Petraeus, who said replacing those names is long overdue.

Sorry, Senator, this doesn't erase any history and the most bitter division is to celebrate traitors who fought to maintain slavery.

This isn't a one-off, race-centered trope for Hawley. He also criticized the NBA for allowing professional basketball players to celebrate Black Lives Matter with racial justice pledges on their uniforms - but not slogans opposing China on human rights or supporting police.

As Republicans sort out their post-Trump posture, there are many more important matters than NBA jerseys or teaching a course on the 1619 project: the Pandemic, the economy, relations with China.

But racial issues continue to plague America; would-be successors should seek to erase Trump's stain of bigotry, not pander to it.’

But Republicans will continue to pander to Trump’s stain of bigotry – as a means to appeal to the ignorance, fear, and hate of the GOP’s base, and to deflect from the real problems facing America; problems for which Republicans have no solution.

there isn't going to BE a "post-trump" era....

trump and the republicans have learned from Putin how to steal a government and make it an authoritarian dictatorship regardless of what you choose to call it.

"voting" in the future will be rigged and staged......a performance to present an illusion.....

"the only good democrat is a dead democrat" might become a law!

I have no doubt that people who INSIST upon declaring the USA a "christian nation" and establishing their beliefs as laws of the land would have no problem denying NON-christians the right to vote.....

or even live.....
This is weapon grade stupid.

Uhhhh, because he has rights just like anybody else???
Not only does he have rights, he has an army of lawyers pulling every string to be sure the American people don’t see his tax returns

So what's wrong with that? We don't need to see his tax returns. Tax returns are personal. If he wants to show them, that should be up to him--not you or the Nazi's.

We wanted to see DumBama's college transcripts. We wanted to see how an average guy got into the expensive colleges he got into. We want to know if he pulled off a Liz Warren stunt by claiming he was somebody he was not like a foreign student.

Did any of that have to do with him being President? Of course not. We just wanted personal information to rip on the guy like you do with Trump. Hussein knew that, so he didn't show any of it.

Do we need to see his tax returns?

How closely are his finances tied to Russia and other nations he deals with as President?
What business connections does he have with US and foreign countries?
What are his business ties with members of the WH Staff?
What deductions has he been taking?

We need to see Trumps returns more than any other President in 50 years
By those standards, we need to see Biden's, Pelosi's, Harris', and Schumer's returns.

But you'll say that's different. Somehow. It just is.

If that's all you've got, just keep quiet.

You are easily lead by talking points and BIG LIES, the grist upon which GOP uses to convince those who can't think for themselves. Blacks are human beings, and not treated as such by rogue cops and White Suprematists/racists.
...a tiny, tiny percentage of the American population.

Meanwhile, it's a longstanding plank of the Democratic Party that black people aren't smart enough and good enough to succeed on their own without help

Don't even bother wasting the electricity to deny it.

Nixon's Southern Strategy began the GOP's pandering to the white supremacists, and Republican politicians have cultivated the racism and bigotry in their right wing voter base ever since.

The support of many so-called centrist voters has also been won by the GOP's open contempt for people of color.

The impeached president trump took advantage of five decades of the Republican Party's hard work and turned it against the GOP's 2016 presidential hopefuls. He proved to right-wingers he was eager to offend civilized Americans to win the votes of the deplorable racists/bigots that populate the rank-and-file Republican voters.

The impeached president trump's continuing success is obvious by how well received his hate-filled, racist rhetoric remains with his devoted fanatics and the so-called centrists.

The problem is, you can't point to anything Trump ever did or said that was remotely close to racism. We CAN do that with Biden on several occasions. This is the problem with brainwashing. They tell you what to think, but not why you should be thinking it.

No, the RNC did not listen to us. That's why Donald Trump is our President. Out of all the candidates for the party, only Donald Trump said he would take harsh measures to stop illegals flowing into this country, and he did. All the other contenders used the RNC talking points of immigration reform. Nobody on our side asked for reform. We asked to stop the illegals from coming here.

By hook or crook, Donald Trump is replacing useless barriers that stopped very few. He's adding new walls in places that didn't have them before, and that's continuing until this day. By the time he's completed his second term, hundreds of miles of additional barriers will be in place, and there is nothing the anti-white party will be able to do to stop him.
