The latest astronaut class has 24 people...12 men and 12 women with diversity to the max. Most would be minimalized compared to the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo astronauts. Including the Skylab people. With the same way we think of things today, we still would not have landed on the moon a decade and more later then we did. And the people involved with todays standards, we would have aborted missions and even crashed and died with those missions. What evidence do you have that anyone is trying to force 'equal outcomes'? We DO NOT have equal opportunity by a long shot, instead we've called 'some opportunity' 'equal opportunity'.
