As Expected, Trump's Incompetence Showing Bg Time

Why is Mexico the seventh largest vehicle manufacturer with 76 percent of those vehicles exported to the United States?

"Mexico is the world’s seventh-largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, producing 3.5 million vehicles annually. Eighty-eight percent of vehicles produced in Mexico are exported, with 76 percent destined for the United States. Established automakers in Mexico include Audi, BMW, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jac by Giant Motors, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Stellantis, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Tesla, which recently announced a new plant to be built in the state of Nuevo Leon as part of its electric vehicle production."

Why aren't we building those cars here? Employing AMERICANS?
Mexican workers are better. Elon says he cant get Americans to work in his factories. Too laazy or too stupid.? Who gives a shit.

**** our allies!

What the **** have they done for us lately???

Other than extract our monetary resources to increase their standard of living?

With allies like that, who needs enemies?

What do democrats always say?

Don't vote against your own interests?

Well you should be happy. We are đź’Ż % done with worrying about what's in Canada's best interest or what's in Mexico's best interest at the expense of WHAT'S IN AMERICAN'S best interest.
Just a simple qyestion for you.Is it good for America to destabilise Mexico ?
Maybe you could form an answer before going back to shoot cans of Bud in your back yard.

One thing I have noticed is that MAGAs are no different that those idiots during W’s administration who bought into the whole weapons of mass destruction lie.

This is the same song. The sheeple are the same and the sheeple are falling in line with the lie.

MAGA and W supporters are one and the same.

These tariffs against our strongest ally, Canada, are based on a lie that Canada is involved with illegal immigration.

I expect the Trumpers will be calling for changing the name of “Canadian Bacon” to “Freedom Bacon.”

What countries are tariffing the US?
The EU countries, Canada, Mexico, and China.

But also every single other county. All nations use tariffs to some extent, except Hong Kong.

Countries do impose tariffs; none are as stupid as Trump to impose massive tariffs for no reason and to start a needless trade war. The US economy was doing just fine and Trump is going to bring the whole thing down..just like he did in his first term.

We’ve been in a “trade war” for decades….and have been losing. We’ve lost nearly all our manufacturing to China and Mexico. All because idiots like you supported GOP and Dem “free trade” agreements over the last 50 years.

We lost our manufacturing base to China because your idiot party gave tax breaks to companies to invest in China and made it cheaper for them to invest in China than the US. That is on you.

Biden took the right approach. Invest in America and put tariffs are targeted products,

Trump’s broad and senseless tariffs are nothing but stupidity disguised as policy and may start a worldwide trade war.

You remember the last worldwide trade war?

It resulted in the Great Depression.

So says the Wall Street Journal

“President Trump will fire his first tariff salvo on Saturday against those notorious American adversaries . . . Mexico and Canada. They’ll get hit with a 25% border tax, while China, a real adversary, will endure 10%. This reminds us of the old Bernard Lewis joke that it’s risky to be America’s enemy but it can be fatal to be its friend.

Leaving China aside, Mr. Trump’s justification for this economic assault on the neighbors makes no sense. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt says they’ve “enabled illegal drugs to pour into America.” But drugs have flowed into the U.S. for decades, and will continue to do so as long as Americans keep using them. Neither country can stop it…

Mr. Trump sometimes sounds as if the U.S. shouldn’t import anything at all, that America can be a perfectly closed economy making everything at home. This is called autarky, and it isn’t the world we live in, or one that we should want to live in, as Mr. Trump may soon find out…

None of this is supposed to happen under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement that Mr. Trump negotiated and signed in his first term. The U.S. willingness to ignore its treaty obligations, even with friends, won’t make other countries eager to do deals..”

When you elect a dolt as President, expect him to make stupid decisions. This trade War with Canada and Mexico is just idiotic considering that it was Trump himself that renegotiated a new trade agreement with them only a few years ago.

Like everyone who has done business with Trump will attest: his word is garbage.

Not on me because I never voted for those people.

I voted them out by voting MAGA.

I think it's safe to say that, going forward, our former allies and trading partners will only deal with us -- on trade, finance, security, intelligence, or anything else -- when they HAVE to, and not because they WANT to.

I don't know how much that will matter, but we're sure going to find out.

Trudeau details Canada’s retaliation plans in an emotional rebuke of Trump tariffs.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada laid out more than $100 billion in retaliatory tariffs against the United States late Saturday, in a forceful response to President Trump’s decision to impose levies on a range of Canadian goods. But he made clear that Canada was doing so reluctantly.

“We don’t want to be here,” Mr. Trudeau said in a somber televised address from Ottawa that evoked the deep bonds between the two neighbors and close trading partners. “We didn’t ask for this.”

Mr. Trudeau spoke hours after President Trump hit Canada and Mexico with tariffs of 25 percent on all goods, with a partial carve out for Canadian energy and oil exports. Mr. Trudeau said that Canada would swiftly impose its own “far-reaching” retaliatory tariffs of 25 percent on 155 billion Canadian dollars ($106 billion) worth of U.S. goods.

Initial tariffs worth 30 billion Canadian dollars will start on Tuesday, when the U.S. tariffs go into effect, Mr. Trudeau said. That will be followed by tariffs on 125 billion Canadian dollars worth of goods in the next three weeks, a delay he said would allow Canadian businesses to prepare.

Before Mr. Trudeau’s prime-time address, Canada had indicated that it would tax Florida orange juice, Tennessee whiskey and Kentucky peanut butter — products from states with Republican senators. Mr. Trudeau said on Saturday night that Canada’s tariff list would also include products like beer, wine, vegetables, perfume, clothing, shoes, household appliances, furniture and sports equipment, and materials like lumber and plastics.

Justin is a disgraced Canadian, his time has been laced with corruption and abuse of power..hence why he had to resign in disgrace

he’s not looking out for the Canadian people at this point. He’s lashing out in his final days in office to try and harm his political rivals

Tariffs will raise prices in the short term then lower them when the recession it causes gets here. Great work Donald! Looking forward to seeing the only president ever to have two terms of double digit unemployment.

Wall Street Journal? LOL

If tariffs are bad idea, what are other countries using them against us?
The biggest jerkoff in history, Trump, can't be convinced that tariffs, despite the fact that any economist with any credibility warns that they are bad for the economy.

Trump, the stupidest person in the world thinks he's the smartest. Trump's ok, the world's wrong. We get it, cultist.

Yeah because we have such a big problem with Fentanyl and illegal migration from Canada. :auiqs.jpg:

Stop being a sheeple for Trump’s bullshit.

We do, not as big as Mexico but we do

The fact you ignore that because you are programmed to simply hate trump by your cult doesn’t change the facts

We have had a safe border with Canada for over 200 years and because Trump told you a lie that it was dangerous you cult members fell into line like the sheeple you really are. That is the very definition of cult.
