Since when should STATES get involved in people's individual healthcare? Shouldn't that be up to the individual and their DOCTORS and insurance company?

That this crazy AK gov. vetoed it to begin with was weird --- he's the same one that SIGNED a total ban on any kind of abortion at all. This guy is all over the map.

Basically these docs are turning males into eunuchs, castrating them and feeding them large doses of estrogen and what-not, poisoning them. We seem to have gone right back to the Turkish harem guards here, this is so creepy! Now I hope other state legislators follow and prohibit eunuch-making:

The governor said he didn't veto it because he disagreed with the fundamentals. He thought it was written too broadly. I disagree with him, but it's not like he's coming out in favor of chemically castrating children.

Actually, studies show that many of them do exactly that.

But if they don't, and still want to mutilate their bodies when they're adults, well . . . they're old enough at that point to make that decision. The same way that they don't get to decide to get a tattoo at fourteen, but are perfectly free to make that choice when they're 18.

Can't imagine why you thought it was more complicated than "Not an adult".
