Are you shorter than you were in your youth?

I hadn't seen my brother in years. When we were around 18 or 20 I remember going back to back with him my Dad said we were exactly the same height. I was shocked when I saw him, he was nearly 2 inches shorter than me. I'm wondering how common it is to shrink in height?

When I was young, I could be described to the ladies as a "Summer Sausage".

It's normal for you boots to wear down an inch bit since then.

I used to be very flexible- now if I try to do a high kick, it's about good enough to kick a snake's ass.

Depends. If you were Airborne in the Army, hitting the ground hard makes you shorter. If you are an astronaut, less gravity makes you taller.

I used to be very flexible- now if I try to do a high kick, it's about good enough to kick a snake's ass.

It's a miracle I can still swing a golf club. I have the flexibility of a frozen rope.

Nope, I was born at six foot one inch. I am now six feet two inches. It is not abnormal to shrink with old age.

Same for me. I'm curious do you do use an inversion board or do any spine decompression like bar hangs, dips, etc? I started doing those things about 20 years ago for lower back pain.
