We have no choice. Most every country on the planet got to be only by establishing territory as their own then defending it to the death. I've studied thousands of years of history and cannot think of any country which maintained it sovereignty by throwing flowers and catcalls at invaders.

I mean, if someone wanted to come here illegally, sneak drugs in or commit other crimes of mass destruction (which is really what this fentanyl is), and the USA did not warn you off with serious, credible threats of death or imprisonment, would anyone really stay away and not try to get in?

At this point, can you imagine that anyone getting into a big speedboat with a bunch of drugs heading for America from Venezuela DOES NOT KNOW they are risking death by trying so?

You really think the Bible, written 2000 years ago to extol the life of a religious figure applies to how a country 2000 years later needs to deal with global drug and human trafficking, something not even imaginable in their day?

And how do you know they are unarmed? Who goes out with millions in drugs not prepared to defend it? The Mexican cartels are now issuing rewards for anyone killing ICE agents to protect their trade. These people made a decision to risk life and limb to come here to get rich at the expense of hundreds of thousands of American dead from their poison. You would risk waiting for them to come ashore here and battle it out with them in a big gun fight hoping that you stopped them before they disappeared or got away and unload another boatload of narcotics?

Why do you defend a couple of criminals against the lives of thousands upon thousands of Americans? Do you want them here so they can hire some slick lawyer, cost the country more millions of dollars in lawyers, courts, and incarceration so they can be let off with a slap on the wrist?

How do we know if they're unarmed? I say shoot first ask questions later when lives are at risk. Especially since it would easily solve the problem of them entering our country illegally knowing that they could get shot. They come here legally then they won't get shot. Problem solved.

It's okay as I was somewhat serious when I said that we never know who is armed and who isn't but I wasn't actually serious about actually shooting unarmed people as much as I was just making a point of saying that we should just make them believe that's what's going to happen them if they come over here illegally, but it's my fault for not clarifying that.
