Pot (at least here in America) is improperly categorized. It's not as dangerous as many of the drugs it shares a category with. I have no problem with rating it as a medicinal drug. And regulating it as a recreational drug would curb the black market.

I do a lot of volunteer work, and Christians are by far the largest group who turn out and contribute to the community. Secular Jews are also punching above their weight in charities and volunteering.
