Are you for or against cannabis legalisation?

Im for and would enjoy smoking it, if i were not shizophrenic and on medication
Pot (at least here in America) is improperly categorized. It's not as dangerous as many of the drugs it shares a category with. I have no problem with rating it as a medicinal drug. And regulating it as a recreational drug would curb the black market.

i have never had a flashback with either one....i did acid at least 5x....
I probably did it 3 or 4 times in the early 70s. It`s not uncommon today to treat people for depression, addiction and anxiety with LSD.

I tried it a few times in college in the 70s
My state legalized cannabis a few years ago. I have no desire to try it again

all i know is the times i did it i had great time with others also doing it,one time out in the middle of the Mohave Desert, the sky was unbelievable without doing acid....if you are in a bad situation though it could be a horrible experience...

I think it should be legal but slightly regulated....and definitely NOT sold by the government. I have other thoughts about how it should be dispensed too, but am not resolved enough to be very specific about it yet.

The only reason they need to regulate grass is because some people lace their grass with dangerous chemicals.

If they legalized it we would create an entirely new industry.

The government would take it over and issue it to their illegal voters.

Then their voters would be too stoned to give a shit about voting.

you need parts of the grow and sell process to be regulated and enforced ..out here Nevada is pretty strict i hear from the shops employees......

A lot of pharmaceuticals are more dangerous than cocaine.

They also breed it and engineer it to be increasingly powerful where some varieties are many times more powerful than what people smoked from the 60's into the 80's. It's to the point where sometimes it really qualifies as latently toxic. It's also more compicated pharmacologically than alcohol, and it's effect can be more unpredictable and lasting, even after the high is over.

We're already there.
Maybe, after enough of these pot heads are decimated by another stoned pot head in head on collisions they'll see the light.
Unfortunately a lot of good drivers will be taken out in the mean time. I've had two near head on collisions in the past twelve month due to distracted and likely stoned drivers crossing into my lane. VERY close calls.

People who get stoned or drunk and then drive generally don't have the capacity to realize the danger they put others in. And likely don't care.

THC does trigger psychosis NOS in some teens up to age 22. The number is increasing.
It's a real problem.
I'm opposed to marijuana legalization. Decriminalization is fine with me but actually putting the weight of state bureaucracies behind it in an attempt to get more tax dollars is penny wise and pound foolish.
The last thing we need in a society that gets more stupid by the hour is encouraging people to get stoned, particularly when THC percentages are so high. All kinds of mental and physical issues have been tied to it.
All that 1960s crap about it being a "harmless plant" was bullshit.

you guys make it sound like the more potent weed is all you can buy,you can buy pot that was no better then the 70's if thats what you want....

That's the reason there's no difference between being drunk or stoned when the police pull you over. They have ways of telling whether you're high on alcohol or pot, and both will get you arrested.

people were driving stoned back in the 70's and on....

I'm sick of moron stoners pretending weed is the magical cure all of the millenium. Time to instate the death penalty for possession and hope we get them before they breed.
