And the way you would see it, would be to ignore the moot issues, of slavery and seccession, and then to ignore that other people are celebrating other aspects of southern heritage, such as the service of the southern soldiers.

If you see someone with egyptian earings, you don't assume that they are advocating for a THEOCRACY with GOD KINGS, and attack them.

If you see someone with African tribal tatoos, you don't assume they are advocating for a tribal social structure where woman are required to marry.


Even if, those...cultural aspects might have been "integral" to those societies.
